- Taken from Series 11 of Taskmaster, Greg Davies and Alex Horne are underwhelmed by Lee Mack's constant botch jobs on the tasks, and his pathetic attempts to defend his performances. He surely can't win the series, can he?
The comedy game show #Taskmaster, where contestants are challenged by Greg Davies to complete a series of weird and wonderful tasks! Be glad you're not a comedian (or little Alex Horne) facing his wrath.

They didn't even talk about the fact that Lee taped his BARE LEGS rather than putting on cling film first.
Lol at how he was so pedantic with the rules of the first task followed by him completely breaking them in the next clip 😂
Well if the rules aren't gonna be enforced in one task then why follow them in another
@@bigbiscuit4968 They weren't necessarily filmed in that order
@@iliketrains3495 oh I know...just making a joke friend.
So you are saying he became untethered?
Character Development
I'm with Lee on the Biodegradable Cling film and Gaffer Tape. Only Lee and Mike should've got points. However, why Lee decided to start with the tape when he's wearing shorts is beyond me
Yea, the task should have stated "completely cover in cling film *or* gaffer tape".
@@johnnycbad Or "Completely cover yourself in a combination of tape and film.".
If you thought of it like a computer might, Lee’s conclusion would be incorrect. I could reasonably describe a chess board as being completely covered in black and white squares. It isn’t the same as saying completely covered in black squares AND completely covered in white squares.
@@johnnycbad but then it could have been interpreted that they had to cover in either only tape or only cling film.
The task probably should have said and/or. But maybe not, because part of the task is how well you can argue your point to Greg and which interpretation is the most entertaining.
The task didn’t specify that you must use both together to cover the entirety of your lower half, just that you must use both , how much you use and where is entirely up to the contestant
Saddest part of the balloon challenge is Lee was so close to getting it perfect with the sponge by tearing it 😂
if only he had gone inside before testing XD
The pain Lee has when he realises he could’ve done the first task so much easier really cracks me up!
Definitely influenced by David
I do have to wonder why only one of them thought to do legs separated.
@@bcaye And like none of them started from the bottom first.
@@bcaye I don't think I would have thought to make trousers. I think the phrasing of "wrap your legs up" has an implication of doing both together, even though it isn't explicitly stated.
What it didn’t say was in equal amounts..
I think Lee completely understood what he was getting himself in to and reveled in it. This whole season is in my top three for sure.
If it wasn’t during Covid then strong contender for best season so far
Even if he had a point about the tape and cling film, why would you do tape first?
He wants a free leg wax
I think Lee actually completed the painting better than anyone. As it said to only use your feet, many of the other contestants used another part of their body that was not their feet. Only Lee succeeded in not using his brain.
"why am I not allowed thinking time?"
I love that Lee Mack has WILTY just built into him at this point.
Alex gave a hint at 1:26 "All the information is in the taskS"
Oooh sneaky
My favorite Lee moment "I have a BAFTA!"
Lee Mack would’ve been better with an audience, I feel like he works so much better when there’s other people watching during the ‘live’ segments
That’s the show as a whole. If five people are sat in a room doing weird things for nobody but two men on thrones it feels more like a cult than a tv show.
@@beefpelican he meant in the studio sections
@@whenthewhenthe8541 I was agreeing. Lee Mack's season had no studio audience, and it made things feel a bit weird in the studio sections.
So Lee Mack is Rhod Gilbert minus the psychotic brilliance
Haha nailed it!
Not sure what the original wording was because they only included the repeat summary, but unless it said using ONLY your feet, Lee followed the directions to the letter. He used his feet to paint the feet, thus satisfying the rule and used more appropriate tools for the rest.
the task did say using only feet
They never change the wording whenever Alex repeats a task. He merely emphasizes the portion that they broke.
“we don’t waste anything” yes, this responsible show that i’ve seen at least seven cakes sat on 😂
liza tarbuck wouldnt agree w the statement made on waste :D
and all the eggs
I would argue that the opposite of doing something with your feet would be doing something without your feet and since he had his feet with him the entire time I believe he fulfilled the task
Lee's painting is genius
Lee is great at chaos.
If i were lee, i would also interpret the tape and film that way, but I definitely would have done the film first
Only one of them thought to just do each leg separately
Sean lock would’ve been great at this
Lee's analogy about eating two pieces of food doesn't work because even when combining two foods into one object, eating all of it does not change meaning. However, if you were to say, cover your entire body in mac & cheese, nobody in their right mind would assume that meant there could be no gaps between the macaroni. That isn't how I would have interpreted the task. The most straightforward interpretation in my eyes is the one Lee used. However, as both are a completely valid interpretation, I also wouldn't take away points from any of the others.
Mike and Lee were the best of this group.
with the balloon, isn't the best options to either hold like a plank on top of the balloon or stand in an arch? Like hands on the floor, keep the balloon floating up against your stomach/chest? That is between your waist and chin.
That's not hovering. That's holding it down...😅
@@tommulder9420 depends on what you consider hovering. If they don't allow putting something over the balloon the only way you can do this task is the Lee way: finding an item that is exactly as heavy as the balloon itself to make it stationary. Which is near impossible.
Hover, to remain suspended OVER a place or object. Holding it down from above is NOT hovering
I just can’t figure out why no one took it indoors
"Don't have thinking time by pretending you didn't hear me"
Lee has spent far too much of his life doing WILTY
If you spill your food and the floor is covered in spaghetti and meatballs
I felt bad for Lee.
The task didn't say a combination of cling film and Gaffa tape, it said AND that means covered by both
Definition of tether: tie with a rope or chain so as to restrict movement.
Definition of hover: remain in one place in the air.
So you could just hold the balloon.
What are hands, if not the feet of the arms - Phil wang.. or something
would painting the balloon work? or any sort of coating substance, then you could add to it very slightly until it was enough to keep it hovering.
mike was my absolute favourite
Surprised to hear a Cyril Sneer reference in the UK, such a niche Canadian cartoon.
I'm fairly sure The Raccoons aired on Childrens' BBC in the 90's. Might be misremembering.
Don't know how I watched this series, watched would i lie to you, and didn't realize it was the same lee mack. i can't perceive people! i lack personality permanence!
how in the-
so lee mack has no peripheral vision and you just dont have any vision
Balloons don't hover.
Of all the taskmaster contestants throughout all of the series, thats over 50 contestants, Lee Mack is the one who i think the most like. He is doing every task exactly how i would of done all of them
said it once will say again " have a best of the worst speical " get the worst players and make em do a 2 parter and find whose the least worst and worst of the worst
@4:10 Lee working too long on Would I Lie To You.
Lee Mack punches walls. You can just tell.
Is the Gaffer tape biodegradable?
Greg had such a thing for Sarah.
Can you blame the man?
Why did everyone go for the mermaid look by wrapping both legs together instead of wrapping each leg individually? They should of known better that Alex would pull off this kind of bullshit, especially if they've seen the show before.
Why on earth would you start at your waist and not your feet. Bizarre.
I would hardly call losing one section of a game, a failure. It's just a game. Failure is a harsh word
It's failing the task.🙄
I think the fail is that he failed on trying to be specific on tasks where it didn't need to be that specific.
Lee is correct.
Funny how whenever Lee fucks up, Jamali wins
Great show. Sad this season didn't have the audience cos it's a banger
Is it really burry for anyone else?
should've gone to specsavers
Why did everyone bind their legs together? They only needed to cover them ..
Greg in another universe: "Would the men and women in the audience please raise there hands."... "Well Lee, there certainly are a lot of lady boys in tonight."
Sorry Lee, you’re wrong, the task didn’t specify that you must use both of them to cover the entirety of your lower half, just that you must use both…
I dont know man the peanuts and beans argument convinced me.
But later in the task it says: so that no part of your lower body isn‘t covered in clingfilm and gaffa. So technically you have to do both. 0:36
I don't understand why all of them wrapped their legs together, instead of wrapping their legs individually.
Edit: oh never mind, there was one very clever boy.
Lee is not correct. Covering in tape and wrap makes the tape and wrap a conjunction. Meaning that they are used together for the one task of covering. Now if the task said, “both tape and wrap” that would mean you had to cover twice.
Lee Mack used to be fun…his one joke being outraged and fake aggressive gets old faster and faster every time
Personally James Acaster the worst he got fails and he not funny.
Cant do bake off and this.
Hunh???
What??
I am so confused
You just can't speak for comedy or comedians, because you don't know funny...
Your personal opinion is frankly worthless and just biased and toxic.
Lol.
actually he's talked about what a rough time he was going through on bake off, especially on no sleep. he did well considering.
anyway, this has nothing to do with him so, rent free, clearly.
I was expecting Lee to call them out on Jamali's very clearly not being fully wrapped by the time he puts on the hat.
