You should try the david’s tea advent calendar next year! They specialize in tea blends so you’re guaranteed some nice colors and interesting flavors.
I should! Twinnings had too many repeats. I was hoping to see if Murchie's had one but I never found the time to check out their store. :(
Have you actually tried there tea? The ones I tried I didn’t like. Do you have any recommendations?
Un Original I have! Definitely try forever nuts (basically tastes like an almond pretzel) another great one is cinnamon rooibos chai. If you go to their store they’ll let you smell them and you can buy a fresh cup of tea to try.
Loose leaf tea is soooooo much different then tea bags.
I definitely would recommend Tetley. That's my favorite tea brand. Also Earl Grey, camomile, green tea and Sleepytime tea are all lovely teas if you're into more "earthy" flavoured teas as opposed to fruity teas

I tried to paint with tea once, if you squeeze the tea bag into a little dish, you'll get a stronger colour! 😊

to make tea darker you can boil it in a pan until most of the water evaporates
or just use less water

Honestly the whole "old at 30" bit is accurate. My mom is only 37 and she has lost her thyroid, gallbladder, had an entire hysterectomy, and had a stroke BECAUSE of the hysterectomy in Feburary (don't worry, she's fine now and she's back to 100%). Also my dad is 44 and he has white hair. I'm definitely looking forward to old age with these quality genes👍

I feel bad when you say you only used the tea to make the characters pop. I love how you used the color scarcely instead of forcing to incorporate it. All of the pieces were cute and creative and I enjoyed watching the video. You’re an artist and there aren’t any rules to a certain “challenge” or what have you. It’s a way to express creativity and you’ve certainly done that! I loved the Christmas tree one and I love that you used the other teas to add more color. Also, I really liked the oranges with faces!! I understand that it’s hard to like every single piece of art that you make, and you still did an amazing job on that piece!!

and also make the tea at night so it has more time to infuse and be extra concentrated

Shahd Oweis - I totally agree, it showed incorporation of the tea rather than just using it for background or as a color so one part of the line art stands out.

Edona_The_DONUT // Donutz_4LIFE 100%! I could see how someone would lack creativity with using the same browny/yellow color but that one just had it all! She used the blow dryer to create that beautiful effect and then used it as a base rather than just using it in the background

Hey Kasey, that was a lot of work!! I wonder if you tried using a wet tea bag to grab your color instead of using tea water. I've never tried painting with tea, but I feel like you might have got more pigment by working with the wet tea bag. (Does that even make sense?)
The mug in the video is basically for show, most of the time I filled up my brush with tea bag water off camera. Tea can't make a dark color no matter what you do. You need lots of layers. ;)

Irish breakfast it's my absolute favorite in the list you had to go with. Earl grey is my second and I go for that when it's that, orange peekot (sp?) Green tea, and random herbals like chamomile, peppermint, etc.

I loved this! Such a cool idea and I really wasn’t sure what you were going to do since tea isn’t deeply colored. You pulled it off, though, and each picture was so cute and unique. I think the bee/chamomile & honey was my favorite. The ultimate beehive hairdo!

Im almost 12 and my back is in pieces, ( not really) but yea.
OMG me 2 I'm 13 but it started around when I was 10 cuz that's when I started walking to and from school cuz my backpack is so heavy and dosnt sit properly on my back bcuz of it
I got diagnosed with my third scoliosis curve last month, I have a brace that hurts and now it hurts without it too I can’t win lol
