I love your thoughts on prayer. The repetitive prayer thing is something I've struggled with. If I pray once, and mean it, in faith and trust, God is faithful to hear our needs and takes care of us. Fervent doesn't necessarily mean repetitive.
You are SO adorable. ❤I just found your channel. I just had my baby boy Alessian Rocco. & I WISH I’d had a home birth 😢 but unfortunately I was too high risk. Maybe if I have ONE more baby, I will definitely be doing home birth bc I’ve been thru labor three times and I know what it feels like and my body does pretty well with the pain. Thanks for sharing your journey! Can’t wait for updates and the birth I subbed to you and tapped the bell! 🎉🎉❤❤

Agreed! When I had my baby at home, I definitely came to the point of feeling like I couldn’t do what I needed to to let me baby come. But the Lord provided all I needed and brought her into my arms. :)

Best of luck. As a mum with a newborn in my opinion birth and the first 2 weeks are the hardest part, with the massive life adjustment and all the things you have to learn. But once you get over that hurdle it keeps getting easier and easier and much more fun, and baby reaches new amazing milestones, you get used to the sleep deprivation lol and all the overwhelming moments become distant memories. Stay strong mama!!

Yes!!! I’m so happy for you two! There’s nothing wrong with being confident, I went in confident and at peace with god’s plan for my birth and trusted him to get me through it and I had an amazing birth. For me it was the contractions that I found most painful, I used a tens machine which worked wonders until the later stage. Then I just leaned onto god and moved onto entonox. You have got this and I can’t wait to see your little blessing in your arms 💗

I hope you see this! I think it would be wise to have nitrous oxide nearby JUST in case. That stuff made me not have to go to the hospital. We’re all different so that just worked for me about 9cm I had been up for a entire day and night and I couldn’t keep going and it just worked and I got to have my baby at the birthing center just a thought to be prepared love you!!!! Praying for you🙏🏼
Too funny, I soo relate to the part where you said, “If I’m determined to do something, I will do it. And that’s saying a lot because I’m not determined about much.”🤣 That was absolutely me with my birth too!! Hahaha so much of giving birth is that determined mindset, so you are going to do amazing! I just had a home birth 6 weeks ago and it was such an incredible experience! You are so right that your body will know what to do and you will find your rhythm pretty quickly in labor. It was intense no doubt, but truly so so manageable. I honestly wish I could relive it. I’m so excited for you!

I'm so glad you're able to do a home birth.
You got this! The one thing that helped me with my births, more than anything else, was knowing that my body was made for this and that my body would do what needs to be done. It's amazing, the feeling after giving birth. You feel like a super hero!....until you realize you didn't do it alone. God is there and he programmed our bodies for this. And yes, child birth hurts. Lol. But there's a reason that pain doesn't stop women from having as many children as God blesses us with. It's not unbearable, it's not the nightmare you fear, and once that baby is in your arms you won't even think about it. Keep it up Mama! This will be the most amazing experience of your entire life!
However your sweet child enters this world I wish him a long and healthy life.

Aw you will do so great!! I was so naive the first time around I did not prepare like I should have and ended up with an epidural 🤪 but I did prepare and had a successful natural birth to follow. What really helped with my natural birth was really preparing my husband that time around. He knew exactly what I wanted and needed. And he made it happen for me. Ofcourse the Lord prepared him but boy did they get me through!!! It is very hard for husbands to see you in so much pain and it really hurt him to see me hurt but i told him "please just keep encouraging me, please don't let me give up no matter what I say" and I'm so thankful he didn't let me give up I'm so thankful for proud to have birthed my baby naturally and I LOVED the experience. You can do this! Paul keep encouraging her!!!

Praise God. There is something special and deeply spiritual about having babies at home, without meds, surrounded by trusted Loved ones and birthing professionals. I went through it twice. I wasn't a Christian yet, but even I felt closer to God throughout those experiences, and it helped bond me to my babies. Congratulations on this wonderful news. Either way, God is the Author. Still praying for a peaceful, healthy labor and delivery, and a wonderful transition to full motherhood.

My care got transferred to an OBGYN instead of the midwives because I was diagnosed with Lupus a week or so ago. I was originally planning to have a home birth, but I suppose the Lord had different plans. I am still sad when I think about it, but I am grateful for the health of my baby more than not being able to have a home birth. Congratulations on your ability to be able to have a home birth still! God is good! May He bless you in your birthing journey! 🥰

And hey - just remember to breathe. If you can get a handle on breathing, slow, steady, find the light at the end of the tunnel after each contraction, you will get through the pain. Soon as baby comes, all the pain will be gone! You can do it. Cheers. 😊
