How can anybody compare Cynic and Aeon Spoke ? You can't compare Red and Blue. Both colors, some like one some like the other, some like both. Aeon is the living proof that Paul Masvidal and Sean Reinert are great open-minded, multi-talented musician. No one is forced to like all of their material, they certainly don't expect fans to do so. They are true artists in endless transformation and improvement. You can love some of their stuff today and understand some earlier or later stuff in years..
The transition of Masvidal and Reinert from the Cynic feel to just rock is hard to swallow, but Masvidal can really flaunt his vocal skills; Diggin it.
@gabba1311 Hey it's actually a demo version. The original song was renamed to Nothing. And first appeared on the album 'Above the Buried Cry'. Then it was later re-recorded and re-mastered for the self-titled album. Hope this helps.

I absolutely love this song.
I love Aeon Spoke. I also love Cynic, Atheist, Anathema, etc... just enjoy it all.
this song is awesome
i like it, it's different from their other proyects but is much worth to give a listen to it
Apparently it's on the soundtrack for a show called 'Smallville'. Nothing is better than this version, but both great songs.

This is nowhere near as good as Cynic or Portal but still anything that Masvidal and Reinhart do is great.
