  • Royal Caribbean's NEWEST Ship - the Utopia! The Utopia of the Seas: The World's Biggest Weekend is the world's second largest cruise ship behind the Icon of the Seas. It is the sixth ship in the Oasis Class and entered service on July 19, 2024 out of Port Canaveral, so we were on the 4th sailing in the Inaugural Season on this cruise ship on August 5, 2024!
This vlog shows all about the activities and things to do on the Utopia!
Pretty much every activity in this vlog is included with the cost of the sailing except a few (most are obvious): the Escape Room (I believe I forgot to mention that this is a separate fee), the spa, the casino, and the arcade.
I give my full accessibility review at the end, but I will say that because the ship has so much to do onboard across many categories, I didn't feel that the lack of accessibility for some activities had any negative effect on my trip. However, I just note where there are some instances where it is not that hard to include accessible or adaptive options because they already exist. This note pretty much just highlights why it is beneficial to hire disabled people when creating experiences that many people will partake in.
Below I will list the various activities, and as you can see there is something no matter what you are looking for! Adventure, relaxation, or family fun - the Utopia has it! I even had to split this vlog and include shows and events separately because there was so much footage.
    00:38 - 1:22 - shopping for clothes, art, & jewelry

I was joined by Pam, Evie, and Aiden on this amazing trip with stops at Nassau, Bahamas and Royal Caribbean's private island Perfect Day at Coco Cay!
If you are new to the channel, I have a rare muscle disease, so for extended adventures I use my mobility scooter.
If you have any questions, let me know in the comments! I will also be posting the following vlogs and accessibility reviews from this trip: Full Tour of the Utopia Ship, Food on the Utopia, Activities and Adventures on the Utopia, Perfect Day at Coco Cay, and vlogs from our adventures before embarkation (Hyatt Titusville & Kennedy Space Center). Do you have any favorite cruise ships for traveling with a disability or wheelchair? Would you be interested in a video where I compare Disability-Friendly Cruise Lines with the Utopia versus the Wish? Let me know in the comments!

Welcome to daniellevates! The channel name is a play on the words Danielle + elevates, because this channel is all about elevating ideas about disability and rare disease through humor and adventures! Vlogs feature my adventures and include accessibility reviews. There will also be funny clips of awkward and true moments in the lives of people with disabilities and rare diseases. Since birth, I have had an extremely rare (technically undiagnosed) neuromuscular disease. Depending on how strenuous the adventure is, sometimes I use a scooter and sometimes I don’t - I simply strive to make all content as genuine as possible and to be a positive advocate for the disability and rare disease community.

Thanks!! There are so many variables such as date of sailing, when you book, how many in your party (you get discounts the more people that come typically), but if it were to be averaged with 4 people in a standard room it'd probably be around $1000 per person (without drink package) for 4 nights when I sailed. But there are better deals out there for similar ships! For anyone reading that wants a real price (for free), I highly recommend Pamela@AdventuresByJamie.com 😎
