John, 2 weeks ago I bought a Chicago Electric chain sharper for my R56 chain on the 36v Makita. I have sharped 7 chains on it, 1 for me and the rest for coworkers. Paid full price for it,35 bucks. My Makita cuts so much better now than the out of the box chain. The best part 3 of my coworker gave me 5 bucks each, now the cost of the tool is 20 bucks. I will update with the mods (2) that I will do this money making time saver. Thumbs up to Harbor Freight for this affordable tool.
Thanks for sharing Joe. It's a great feeling when a dull chain no longer gives you the anxiety of lost time to go get it sharpened. Sharper than new is a Win-Win! How do you like the Makita?
