Applied Diamond Protech Glass on a Camry two weeks ago. Removal was grabbier because it seems humidity was a bit on the higher side. That being said drove the Camry to Cambria last week and went through some drippy weather above Santa Barbara. Rain started to channel off between 40-45mph. So, not the rain hydrophobic's of Artedeshine. Also used just one layer and applied the Diamond Glass Prep..
@@MikeGDetailing Seems to be slower to react to your driving speed. Will get lots of rain in Cambria. Have Gyeon Glass on our Crown. That was much easier to remove.
I've used the diamond glass, wheels and just applied the diamond body 36. I got about 4 or 5 months out of the diamond glass and that was through the winter.
Most glass coatings will struggle the more the wipers are used. Technically it met that "up to" 12 months with that time frame. Perhaps they need to tweak it to make it more durable. Diamond Quick Body could use a formula tweak in my experience using it.
I'm so glad I found your channel. I read a bunch of your posts on AG and Autoipa today. This is a great video. We have a new car showing up in a few weeks and I want to coat the wheels and glass first.
I bought the Glass kit TRMCA event will be interesting to apply it. Does the manufacture say 2 coats is better then one or just TRC staff? Looks easy as heck to install. Now just need a lot of rain so can have some wiper abrasion. Thanks Mike
I don't think the Diamond Glass has any nanodiamond stuff in it. I saw a comparison sheet somewhere and it wasn't checked for the glass coating. It also lacks the ball bearing at the bottom to mix. I did apply this to 3 windshields and I have to say, if you go too crazy with too much product you'll see streaks that show up when condensation or frost build up on the windshield. My best result was probably on the windshield I used the least amount of product on.
Just going by what is stated on their site. This nanodiamond coating is easy to apply with long-term professional results offering up to 12 months of hydrophobic protection.

I have read that it doesn’t repel as fast as other glass coatings.

Great video. Was looking at this a few weeks ago. Had some leftover Sic so applied one coat to the windshield. May go with this stuff when it fails.

Good idea to do so. What coating are you going to use on the new car?
@@MikeGDetailing On the paint not sure yet. Wheels was thinking Adams Graphine Advanced, Glass thinking Flyby FORTE. What do you think?
@@wescat2 that would work. You could also use the adams on wheels.
@@MikeGDetailing I actually have the Adams Graphene (non-advanced) in my cart. Any tips on coating outside? No garage here.
@@wescat2 the coating is always on sale. Adams has 30% off on occasion. For coating outside working in small sections and out of the sun.

Manufacturer states 1 layer. TRC recommended two. I did one on the Camaro. Supposedly El Niño is back so that means more rain.
Oooo I have a few bottles tod crack open so far owners pride glass has been impressive and been using that and glassparency
Glassparency, really? I thought it was junk needling too much maintenance. Surprised pros still use it.
@@MikeGDetailing I’ll send you some and I’ll like you to pee on the package haha 😂
Mike it’s pretty good even with out maintenance
@@Ecdetails just as good as swift?

I applied this this morning on my f150, first time using a glass coating. I’m not sure if I used enough product because of how fast it flashed away.
You can always add another layer just to be sure. But yes it does flash quick depending on the temperature.
How is the Diamond Interior holding up, going to apply some to my car this week?
Like day 1. Holding up beautifully.
Good video good video Mike appreciate all the content.
Thanks. Appreciate it
