[HD] Los Angeles Junction Railway in Vernon - 1/4/18

It has been a quite a while since I have paid a visit to the LAJ Railway, so I have finally decided to go out to the Vernon to shoot the Y-VRN2271 job. This job (nicknamed "227") used to be a RCL (remote-controlled) job, however with the amount of issues that have arisen with the use of the remotes, they have been pulled from use on the 227 and 228 jobs as a result. The 227 job runs around the industrial city of Vernon, CA serving industries west and east of LAJ A and B Yards. The UP YLA51 job also runs into the LAJ yards to make a quick interchange move, which is seen here in this video on a rather unique meet at the A Yard West Lead where the YLA51 is pulling out and the 227 is pulling in. Join us as we tour the LAJ's Vernon local chasing it from its home base in LAJ A Yard and around the westernmost section it serves, providing a deep and immersive perspective of the area and industries it serves.
