Dr. Zakir Naik has so much knowledge across all religions that it's simply astounding !
God blesses thier knowledge.
*ALLAH* has created some animals for our food as Allah says in the Qur’an in surat an-Nahl, “And cattle He has created for you. From them you drive wont and numerous benefits and of their meat, you eat.” (16:5-8)
Muslims do recognize animal rights, and animal rights means that we should not abuse them, torture them, and when we have to use them for meat, we should slaughter them with a sharp knife, mentioning the name of Allah (SWT). The Prophet (SAAWS) said, “Allah has prescribed goodness (ihsan) in everything. When you sacrifice, sacrifice well. Let you sharpen your knife and make it easy for the animal to be slaughtered.”
*So,Muslims are not vegetarianists.* However, if someone prefers to eat vegetables, then they are allowed to do so. Allah has given us permission to eat meat of slaughtered animals, but He has not made it obligatory upon us.

Zakir's brains works pretty much like a computer how he memorises the details of verses and chapters from books he has read some of which he doesn't even believe in is so astonishing.
Brother Bobby brought up an interesting point when he said _"Hinduism is a class (caste) system, and the higher castes eat meat...why is that?"_ So I asked a Hindu neighbor why the higher castes ate meat, and his response was honest and interesting. He said the higher castes encouraged the lower castes not to eat meat because there wasn't enough meat to satisfy everyone in the community. So they invented the meat laws so the rich could eat all the meat they wanted without fear of running out. He said it was a man-made law to keep the poor unhealthy and the rich healthy. He said in his parents village in India, the rich would have a meat jubilee once a year for the poor so the poor wouldn't start a revolutionary war against the rich. I don't know if that's Hindu law but I found that interesting.

*The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him),* who is the best of mankind and the closest to Allaah, used to eat meat and drink milk and honey. When one of his Companions wanted to give up meat, he told him that this was wrong.
Anas reported that there was a group of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), one of whom said, I will never marry women; another said, I will not eat meat; another said, I will not sleep on a bed; and another said, I will fast and never break my fast. News of this reached the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He praised and thanked Allaah, then said: *What is wrong with the people who are saying such and such? I pray and I sleep; I fast and I break my fast; and I marry women. Whoever deviates from my Sunnah (way) does not belong to me.*
(Reported by al-Nisaai; the story is also to be found in the two Saheehs of al-Bukhaari and Muslim).
There is a great difference between not eating a certain kind of food because one does not like it, or it does not agree with one, or one has been put off for example by seeing an animal slaughtered when one was a child, which may leave one with a distaste for meat and other similar reasons, and thinking that meat is haraam and that abstaining from it is an act of worship, as is done by Brahmins, monks and others who are misguided.
I think modern luxury has made us forget why eating meat is okay for us, because nowadays we don't struggle as our ancestors had.
Vegans think us meat eaters don't feel bad for the animals, but we do, we just realise that meat is necessary when it is necessary.
I don't think vegans understand their extremism.

When its permissable by Allah we are not in the position to forbid it to ourselves. Meat is considered expensive meal. Sometimes muslims become involuntarily vegan either because of financial or inaccessibility to meat. Eid Adha overcome that issue.
You should show compassion to animals. Ive seen a camel scream not to die and muslims chase it to kill it for your eid. Your telling me this is from allah? Your religion is evil. Even hindus sacrifice animals to their demonic god. Even satanists sacrifice animals.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has stated: Whoever goes forty days without eating meat, he must take a loan from the Treasury and eat meat under the responsibility of God.
Imam Sadiq (PBUH) narrated from his fathers from Amirul Momineen (PBUH) who said:
"Eat meat, because meat comes from meat, and meat grows meat, and whoever does not eat meat for 40 days becomes immoral, so whenever one of you becomes immoral or an animal among you becomes immoral, say Azan in his ear"

I appreciate this so much. I am from india. Although I'm a muslim didn't eat meat for like years and later on once in weeks or months just because Hindu community is so intertwined with us in terms of common foods we eat. I mostly ate roti(whole wheat bread), sabzi(vegetables) and fruits once in a while. The only good source of high protein were eggs which many Hindus also eat where I live.

Well that was surprising, this Muslim teacher understands how important meat is in our nutrition also his arguments are perfect and remind me of my own and of course Bobbys -Plants live too, to live one must take life... Being vegan and having a proper workout routine with a diet is something only someone with the money, time and accessibility to vegan foods can have. The best diet is a balanced diet, eat everything that's good without excess
You know what? With the money and effort, vegan dies is still detrimental to humans. Plants are inflammatory because they produce poisons in small amounts. If we eat them in small amounts they are healthy and teh toxins are little so they act as a form of homeopathy. Veganism is so stupid. It's a solution to a non existing problem, but with very serious adverse effects. In Quran when the jews told Moses they want plants and they're tired of the meats then he said "do you want the inferior instead of that which is superior?! “

Yes..I once encounter someone who doesn't eat fish but eat chicken only..and the other person can't eat rice because he says that he's allergic to rice.. every Muslim have issues what they want to eat as long it is permissable.. we don't have mandatory diet anyway, we just stay away from forbidden foods.

Some people simply don’t like the taste meat, not because they think it is immoral to eat animals. I have family that hate the taste of meat so they get protein mostly from eggs, milk and cheese. There’s no problem with this in Islam.

Corrupt people banned him by giving some lame reasons. More and more non muslims got attracted to Islam and reverting, may be this become an issue for them. Alhamdulillah, we have a person like him.
