I saw a Blue Jay this morning and a squirrel yesterday evening. The tree they stay by is so dark and wet. It's scary for the animals. I worry about them. I love seeing them every day. 🐿🐦🐦⬛

I hope that everyone in KY have not been hurt. 200,000 without power is a lot. Let's hope that there are not any more big storms this fall. I was watching the news from NC and Ashville looks terrible. That is such a beautiful area and it will require a lot of work to clear up. Eastern TN was also hit hard. The rivers in Pigeon Forge were extremely high. I-40 is in bad shape in some sections. You are right about Florida. Florida is such a beautiful State. It don't know what they are going to do about insurance going forward. Sarasota has never had so much water. St Armand's Circle is still under water. Annamaria Island is in terrible condition. Scary for people and wildlife. I always think about how scary it has to be in a nest way up in a tree when strong winds and rain come whipping in. Poor things.

The Squirrel tree is so wet and dark. I did see a squirrel this afternoon looking around. I went to the grocery and saw some broken trees, and one uprooted laying on a house. It's so sad. Kentucky doesn't get tropical storms. We get heavy rain & winds but nothing like today, it was big weather news. Last I heard over 250,000 statewide with no power. Thankfully we didn't loose power or have damage. Our 2 pinwheels are still going strong. I was worried about the squirrels and birds, no one was out this morning. It's supposed to rain all weekend too. There's been tornadoes and ice storms in KY , guess we've had just about all kinds of weather now. At least the temperature was warm today.
