This was the first hitman video game I ever played. I played this game and completed it before playing hitman contracts. I enjoyed playing with getting a rating of mass murderer as well as playing with getting a rating of professional or silent assasin. Though of course playing with the goal of receiving a silent assasin rating would have taken longer. Usually everytime I played the video games hitman 2 silent assasin, and hitman contracts as a mass murderer in each mission I would drag all the bodies together to create a pile of bodies.
What was so brilliant about this game as a stealth game was that even though you could blast your way through it, the real reward was seeing how it was supposed to be done, stealthily. The game works both ways because blasting enemies is fun and less stressful, but doing it all legitimately was very much earned. Challenging game, too.
Lol yeah i mean, maybe if they re-released it and tweaked the awareness meter so its not as unpredictable, this would be more accessible and people wouldn't choose the massacre rout the first time through 😂. Excellent game though.
