- Опубліковано 25 жов 2024
- This was a cartoon that last only a few season in the early 90's, Alex Winters and Keanu Reeves did the voices, its a classic cartoon back in my days. It was in the morning cartoons on CBS , then moved to fox kids in season 2.
Man, I remember seeing those CGI time tubes and freaking out about how cool they looked.
And they still are cool
You mean the circuits of time and yes they’re awesome lol
Must've been the first time Hanna-Barbera tried out using CGi in their cartoons
Bill and Ted are the only characters I can think of that take what most consider as the "outdated" parts of the 90s, and make them iconic and timeless again. Most excellent indeed!
Hiiiiiiiii oh hiiiiii💜💖💜💖💜🌺💜🌺💜🌺🌺🌺💜🌺💜🌺🌺💜🌺💜🌺💜
Makes me miss the 90's that much more.
This was basically 80s.
No it was the 90s.
Omg same here!
It was late 80s to early 90s
@@andrewraps9130 Same
I like how Bill’s eyes are normal yet Ted’s eyes are fricken black dots 💀
Hiii❤❤❤😊😊😊

I watched the cartoon series before even being aware of the movie. So when I saw the film for the first time I was really impressed that they'd found actors who were identical to the animated characters. Especially the voices...
the movie came first so they found actors to play the cartoon characters to sound like the film version. not the other way around 😄
+geekedoutturtlesfan35 that's the thing, 97channel was saying he didn't know that so when the movie came out he/she was surprised. It was a funny coincidence.
+geekedoutturtlesfan35 If you check IMDB you will discover that Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, and even George Carlin did the voices for the characters during the first season of the cartoon.
It's because the animated was based on the movies.
They didn't find actors to sound like the film version, they USED the same actors from the movie.
"Be Excellent to each other, and PARTY ON, DUDES!!!!!!" I love this cartoon back in 1990.
Rocky 3
I was only 7 years old when this was on TV. Love the 90's.
I was 7 or 8 when this was on the air in 1991.
This show's first episode aired 10 days before my first birthday!
I remember that I used to watch this Cartoon when I was a kid
I was born in 82. This came out in the 90's. Awesome show.
I'd like to see Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter act together again in a film. They're hilarious together!
Your wish has been granted
Wonderful news
Here's my story, December 1991 I was only 19, i got struck down with a mystery illness, ended up in hospital on all kinds of meds, end up with septicaemia, serious stuff. One week later all sorts of vomiting and bad nights sleep I was done, utterly wrecked mentally, in pain and feeling moody.
THEN early Saturday morning this cartoon comes on the hospital TV, I had never seen it before and it utterly cracked me up, really made me laugh ... loved every minute of it. That 20 odd min totally lifted my spirits . I don't do religion but felt that program was a small gift to give me some relief and a lift, Anyway soon the drugs kicked in and recovery started I will always be thankful to those 2 "knuckleheads".
I hope you're better now! It's amazing to see just how much entertainment can lift spirits up!
@@FirepowerIGuess thank you that is very kind, yes all good now that is over 30yrs back (my word !!! time flies !!??) but i will never forget how they lifted me up, I wouldnt be religious but it felt like a gift to give me some smiles and lift spirits
@@tinytechs482 That's great to hear! Time really does fly when you're having fun!
That’s a most excellent story 🤘
I’m so glad to hear you’re doing better! I’m in the business of making kids’ cartoon shows, and I’m sure the production team would be over the moon to learn that the show they worked on had such positive impact on a kid who needed cheering up. Keep being excellent, and party on dude!
I wish they had awesome cartoons like this today.
***** I only thought Aqua Teen Hunger Force was good. I'm really picky.
***** Thanks. And I like the last 4 letters of your last name.
***** I'd like to feel how much they like me. If they're at least 5 inches.
***** I wish. Haven't seen it or had it yet in real life.
***** Too bad you're not in LA.
I have never seen, heard, nor have I known this intro and series existed, but the theme song screams nostalgia.
Zuon94 They had it on #NetflixInstant for the longest time a couple of years ago. Not sure why it was discontinued. It being such a underrated show I wouldn't imagine that it could be that expensive for #Netflix to pay for.
#NowOnNetflix
Zuon94 PokemonGirl Jilly #Hulu has this cartoon. Both seasons.
😕 I didn't know this was a cartoon either. 🤔 all I remember is a movie back in middle school about Bill and Ted having to do a history report with actual historical icons. Except those two guys were talking like how someone would in a book, or so I remember.
Skared Thumb the cartoon debut n the early 90's and was fairly successful
Zuon94 used to watch it,there was a teen wolf and back to the future cartoon also
Alex, Keanu, and Carlin voiced their characters in Season 1, but not season 2 when they moved to Fox.
Too bad that they couldn’t keep Alex, Keanu, and George for season 2
Fox was working on a live action Bill and Ted series, so the actors used on that show were used in the season 2 cartoon.
They got too expensive
The teacher's actor also reprised his role.
True
all we are is dust in the wind.. :)
"Like sands in the hourglass, so are the days of our lives!" :D
I think u mean all we are is dust in the wind dude
like the sands of time
Dust... Wind... Dude!
Dude!
Bill and Ted Cartoon Season 1 = EXCELLENT!!
Bill and Ted Cartoon Season 2 = BOGUS!!
You got that right. The Fox Kids version with different voice actors sucked!!!
Yes, 80s slang
Season 2 was non, NON-non, NON-HEINOUS!
ALLNEWSUX The voice actors in season 2 were the actors who played Bill and Ted in the FOX live-action tv series. #justsaying
The first season was produced at Hanna-Barbera, while the second season was at DiC.
Back when Saturday morning cartoons were good and worth looking forward to...
I remember getting up at 7am as a kid just to watch them.
Agree!
Good times!!
shit youre old asf
Eh... the show was OK but I'm not impressed by the intro.
And the fact that this ONE movie made such an impact to make a cartoon makes a Statement 🤣
I was born in 88 and I remember this cartoon... I even remember most of the words to the theme tune!
Was a BRILLIANT show, I think it was on Channel 4 in the morning in the UK
Although I didn't really watch this as a kid, I had the theme song stuck in my head for over 25 years lol
*singing*
whenever time stand still and
trouble moves too fast, to save the future, we
must learn about the past.
whoooaaa-ooooh yeah.
bill and ted's excellent adventures most
outstanding everyday. it's outragous.
so bodacious. help is always on the way.
bill and ted's excellent adventures it's a party
that's for sure. bill and ted's most excellent adventures!!!!
MOST TRIUMPHANT!!! *air guitar*
I watched this show mostly because I was so fascinated with those colorful CGI time-tubes.
Lord almighty this opening just gave a swift nostalgic punch in my gut I only remember seeing maybe 2 episodes of this show but man it was awesome
Hiii❤️❤️❤️❤️🌺🌺🌺😉😉😉
I loved this cartoon- one of my favorite Saturday Morning cartoons ever!
GrassValleyGreg mine 2 this and back to the future the animated series
By favorites, Bill & Ted's one of my top 15-20 sat morning toons ever!.
This was my favourite cartoon when I was a kid. And it still is, in a way.
Most bodacious! :D
I had fond memories of this cartoon
The theme song gives me chills everytime.
"Excellent!... Bogus!" Ah, the memories. Really well-animated T-Rex. I miss these times.
This used to be on Channel 4 in the mornings. They had tonnes of great cartoons on that channel in the 90s. Earthworm Jim. Biker Mice From Mars. Sharky and George. Street Sharks. And this.
Excellent [air guitar]
Yes it was. The specifically hired the actors who played the three leads in the movies for the first season.
Goddamn I miss the 90s
This wasn't really the Peak of Nineties entertainment though.
Singularly one of the greatest theme songs to come out of 90s cartoons!
I remembered watching the Bill and Ted Excellent Adventures cartoon on both CBS and Fox in between the years of 1990 and 1991. Such a underrated and forgotten series as I knew Keanu Reeves before he went to star in The Matrix for Warner Bros.,Alex Winters became a producer and the late George Carlton did the voices of their characters they've portrayed like in the movie made by Orion Pictures Bill,Ted and. Rufus. The 1st season was made by Hanna-Barbera as it aired on CBS in 1990 after the 1st season it switched animation studios to DiC Entertainment which is now DHX Media and switched the network to FOX in 1991 and they replaced Keanu,Alex and George with their own in-house voice actors and it didn't last it was taken off the air by Fox in 1992 in favor of pushing Batman: The Animated Series. The rights to this short-lived cartoon series is own by MGM Television.
As well as the movie rights and basically the characters so MGM can do what they want with Bill and Ted better them then Disney who would probably just water them down and make them all wholesome
Oh Man! I used to love this when i was younger! Shame they don't make cartoons like they used too...
This is an excellent evidence that the quality of 90's cartoons was much better than this decade's.
Only now have I learned of the late George Carlin's involvement with this. If only I knew as a kid how awesome he truly was...
megagrey Perhaps as a kid you heard his narration of Thomas the Tank Engine?
Lucy Foster
You have got to be shitting me.
megagrey I shit you not.
megagrey www.youtube. com/watch?v=kGw7LjB23FE
Lucy Foster That's where I know him from!
The actor from the movie reprise their role for this show for season one until DiC takeover the show for the second season. The first season was made by H-B.
Meggy I have stay when got the one away The one
I really like the first season of this show. It was produced by Hanna Barberra, has Carlin as Rufus, Keanu and Winters as Bill & Ted, and the rest of the movie cast. Season two was produced by DiC, and was alright. But a step down in many ways.
God, I love the way they talk. I sometimes slip into that kind of speech.
"Most triumphant!"
=]
Rip George Carlin aka RUFUS
thanks for making this show
Most triumphantly EXCELLENT
Saw this long before the movies, love the cartoon more!
i have been selected for most important journey!
keep this good quality of cartoons on this century!!!!
(that would a great use for the that time machine)
If I was in charge I would've called it "Bill & Ted's Excellent Cartoon"
Imagine if those versions of Bill and Ted appeared in Jellystone...
Unlikely
Yes, I remember this, Dumb and Dumber, the mask, men in black and Ace Ventura cartoon series, very cool
If they made a cartoon based on any PG-13 rated Jim Carey movie today, parents would throw a fit and it would get cancelled because networks actually listen to parents regarding kids programming now. In the '90s the networks didn't care.
@@GenerationX1984 Oh so true.
Ah, the 90s - when learning was actually cool..
Bill and Ted was the most bodacious cartoons out there in the 80's. Could not wait to wake up early in the morning,5am, just to watch this show and many others!!!
Seriously! This show should be a DVD...NOW!!!
Kid-friendly Beavis and Butthead
Definitely remembered watching this when I was little. Then I found out about the movie and that was even Excellent.
I used to watch cartoons like this as a kid and always thought to myself "Man, being a teenager must be so cool!"
Then I became a teenager and found out that the only way you could look cool was to act like nothing was cool! Then I grew up and came to my senses!
Seriously, if you had as much enthusiasm as Bill and Ted or Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World it would get you laughed at or beaten up!
I just watched this for the first time since it aired, to see if the theme song was like I remembered. It was.
this is awesome i had no idea they did a cartoon! god gave youtube to ya
Part of my childhood.
I still watch this. They should make cartoons like this nowadays.
Wish the Full Episodes were still on UA-cam. The ones with Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves Voices I mean.
You are not alone! Hes so great and more people need to realize this! Team Bill!
Damn I miss great Saturday morning cartoons.
👍👍
I remember watching a lot of these Saturday morning cartoons and I enjoyed watching them as well, also I have a few favorites back then too. Like Bill & Ted, punky Brewster, teen Wolf, snorks, Alf, the pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show, The Addams family, The real Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, the ThunderCats, Voltron defender of the universe from the 1980s, transformers, m.a.s.k, gobots and then there's GI Joe.
They were all great from back in the day.
This hits my nostalgia because I used to watch this in the car
I'd completely forgotten about this. There goes the essay I was planning to do!
Saw this and both movies as a kid. Later in life watched the Matrix, etc and never realized Keanu Reeves was Ted the dimwitted rocker all this time. His character was so different compared to his roles now. George Carlin was also the biggest comedian back then. Raunchy, honest, and somewhat philosophical. What I would give to travel back to the late 80s early 90s.
Here because of Dan's slip.
Bill’s crop top is a fan-service power move and I love it
Bring back the 90s please
Please
I used to watch this too, now old enough to share the movies with my daughter (14) which she enjoyed although she's too cool to admit how much. :-}
This cartoon was way ahead of it's time. If you're reading this the year is 2021 the 3rd Bill and Ted movie : Bill and Ted Face The Music was released in August 2020 29 years after Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey

So EPIC!
One of most AMAZING openings EVER made
you were nothing and nobody in the early 90s unless you had a cartoon series about you, and maybe a a toy line.
Ah the late 80's and early 90's... back when just about everything got its very own short-lived animated series.
I wish I could buy the season 1 on dvd 📀 😊
I used to watch this in Scotland back in the day. Was it Channel 4 on a sunday? Could have been that Saturday morning BBC show with Philip Schofield though.
Had to give it a like. That intro song is such a banger!🤘🏻😎
i remember this sho always used to be on in the uk on a saturday morning, i used to watch it before goin to play 5 a side league down the local leisure centre for my school, memories..
this was the shit back in day!!!
Man went SO hard for the theme song. Most triumphant!
Yeah, it was on CBS in the early 90s. Unfortunately, with so many golf tournaments and college football games, we would see the cartoon every now and again. It was never consistent because CBS just decided to show sports in the later morning. :(
god thank you.i had parts this song stuck in my head for years, needed to hear it.
Memories of watching this cartoon Saturday mornings on CBS.
the cartoon was my introduction to Bill and Ted, after that Bogus Journey was the first live action Bill and Ted movie I had as an off air VHS.
That was fantastic wow I feel like a snow globe can't stop smiling heehee
I remember seeing an ad for this in a... Disney Adventures issue, I think. Always wanted to see it, really liked the movies, but I never woke up early enough for cartoons.
it came on at 11am in 1991-92 est one of the last morning cartoons of the day.
Most bodacious!!! Used to love this show as well as the films!!!
That intro was excellent
*Air Guitar*
I really missed the 2D animation.
Me too
I am from Barcelona, in Spain. I saw this cartoon series in catalan and it was so good, so funny.
The show later moved to FOX Saturday mornings for its second season, then in 1992, the live-action version of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventures aired on FOX from June 28 to August 9, 1992, it only lasted for only one season and 7 episodes.
we need a new Bill and Ted's Exellent Adventure cartoon, i so want to see a new one of these come out!
well Bill and Ted 3 comes out next year and if it's successful enough maybe they will reboot the cartoon show
Takes me baaack
I LOVED this as a kid i was 7 at the time and me and my brother used to get up early on a saturday morning to see it on a show called Cartoon world on TV AM ITV (UK) that started at like 6 am or something and had a few shows on it including this!
That fucking animation when the phone cell travels through the 3D interdimensionel time vortex is amazing xD
i love watching bill and teds excellent adventures
Most triumphant video I never knew there was a cartoon bill and ted. I'm going to watch both movies now and listen to megadeth after catch you later bill and ted
She is a Girl for sure SHE'S IS A girl for sure not a boy💜💖💜💖💜💖🌺🌺🌺❤️❤️
This is better than current Doctor who
i liked it near the end of the cartoon intro when the history teacher gets a shock when bill and ted are sitting on real history itams.
Most triumphant! 🤙🏾
SAN DIMAS HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!!
I LOVE YOU!
this cartoon was the shit when i was little like in 91 or 90 good times
I remember this cartoon it is sort of one my favorites from when i was about 8-11 years of age. Its funny that it was made in 1990-1992 they still talk like they are from the 1980's or two California surfers.
I was 7 when this came out what a memory
God I love Bill and Ted, shit changed my life. I wouldn't be BadNraD if it wasn't for those dudes!
