I've noticed a few people being a bit harsh about Taylor Swift. Regardless of your opinion on her I think it's great that she introduced her fans to music she loves and chose to bring more attention to musicians that are her friends, that is something I respect.

I've been waiting for this for a very long time. I'm a fan of both artists, and have been for a very long time. so seeing them perform together about gave me a heart attack. If you don't like it, you just got to think that this was Taylor's concert, where she asked T&S to come out cause she is a FAN of their music and it was all just for fun. They looked like they had fun and I had fun watching it so yeah. :)
I am so proud of Tegan and Sara. You two are growing professionally. Keep it up. Nothing wrong with mainstream. I do believe regardless of what artists say its the ultimate goal

Perhaps Tegan & Sara saw this as a business move, in which case I would be disappointed because that would make them way less cool in my book. These words are not coming from someone that is a rabid Taylor fan either, though I might become one after seeing this. I can count the number of Taylor Swift song titles I know on 3 fingers and was drawn to this video because of T&S. This was not a business move on Taylor's part for sure. Nobody can make Taylor do anything she doesn't want to do. Just ask Spotify.

Taylor fangirling on Tegan & Sara is awesome. TnS are great artists! They've released 7 albums, each sounding different but have the trademark intelligent songwriting of TnS. Great musicians plus they're incredible people. So, what's not to love? (rhetorical question) ;)

I have such conflicted feelings about Taylor, she's a good singer and she does have a few great songs, but I don't like her personality and thinks she needs to grow up and write something other than a break up song.
Shes produced for the masses, if you don't like it, you are probably accidentally thinking for yourself. This is a side effect of being human.

Highly recommend her newer albums if you still have these feelings (very very few beak up songs (not that anything is wrong with that) on the past few albums)
How can people even hate on Taylor? In an interview with The Rolling Stones Tehran and Sara said she was one of the nicest people they ever met and had such polite manners. They even said that Taylor made them homemade biscuits and jam!

As a T&S fan who doesn't really have an opinion about Taylor Swift, I think they deserve the recognition. So what Taylor isn't the kind of musician that T&S fans typically listen to, they all seemed like they were having fun and there's nothing wrong with a few Swifties buying Heartthrob. Even though it is kind of sad for the fans that they're becoming more mainstream, it's ultimately good for T&S, and their well being is what's important.
That's a nice surprise. I would of been happy as hell in that audience.

And hey, they all looked like they enjoyed it. So really guys, if you don't like Taylor Swift, you can clearly see her in the title and the thumbnail, don't click on it. Same goes for T&S. Don't like it? Don't watch it.
Instead of whinging about them becoming more mainstream, be happy for them! That's what they wanted! They wanted to be more mainstream. They didn't give up on making good music, they just evolved, with their music. Plus, they've been making music for 15 years, they definitely know what they're doing!
I love Taylor's dancing, it's both awkward and totally awesome. Lol. And I don't think she ruined anything. It actually sound better and part of being an artist is being able to change it and not sound exactly the sane every time. So calm your shit. They sounds awesome as hell.

I cannot find a liking for swift. Shes a cheesy, self obsessed performer. Nothing she does sounds or feels genuine.
