Just because you hear about a DJ, doesn't mean they are as good as a random DJ you never heard of. Dj'ing = downloading music and beatmatching/blending tracks. There are world class djs who just don't go out of their way to network.

Hardly important anymore. Actually....not important. With the miriad of available music, choice is what makes the DJ. Basic techniques are required only, not seamless, crispness anymore

What genres of music are in this mix? Is it house?
minimal house, tho its hard to describe, some will say it has electro elements, other indie house, hard to put a genre to it, it's definitely house.
@@chokeyoursoul It's house definitely, but it's not minimal house. Minimal House has much less groove.
@@ArtemidorosEuthymius mmm depends on what you call minimal house... anyways todays underground scene its pretty hybryd so i wouldnt know what to call this. You just need to find the djs that play this style or similar, i think that limousine dream has music close to this sound
@@chokeyoursoul I think this style just doesn't have name yet, but should. Some of the releases I would label as minimal house or microhouse, are "Vocalcity" by Luomo, "Autumn Bells" by Gidge, "Black Noise" by Pantha du Prince, "Minutes of Sleep" by Francis Harris, etc.
