"Don't take my leg, jerk!" ...as he blows out the Marauder's CT. lol This build is so cool, I run it with stealth armour. Seeing as ammo is not really a problem, I also slapped two flamers on it for a nasty surprise. Mentally count to six when you engage the flamers, though, so your heat doesn't shoot up through the roof.
I love the Rakka Dakka Nightstar and when it works it is glorious, need an aggressive team though to make it work since it DOES involve you staring impolitely at an enemy. One on one it can make assault mechs cry though hahah
Love that build, it's perfect to vent after work, and being shot by RACs can be scary as heck. When I once got shot at the same time by two Nightstars with RAC 2 and a King Crab with 2xRAC5 I nearly shat my pants. I was sick the last days and had a fever dream, where my brain said: "RAC Nightstar is great, but how about equipping a RAC Nightstar to each side torso of an Atlas?" I found that idea hilarious, but sadly there was no IS assault with the right hardpoints. They only had assault mech hardpoints in one side torso and medium or lights in the other, and there was no way I could fit 2 assaults in one side torso, because too many slots and also unbalanced weight distribution. Couldn't have my mech tip over to one side, could I? I was devastated, that this idea did not work, but then I found out, that the Nightstar itself had an assault mech hardpoint in each arm, so I equipped a Nightstar with 2 Nightstars, and each of those with two and so on, until I went out of C-Bills to buy more of them. The result was a Nightstar tree with Nightstar branches, and somewhere around 30 Nightstars with 4xRAC2 each. This tree did only walk with 10 mp/h but the Dakka leveled the whole field. It could even shoot down the airstrike planes. Everyone was totally ecstatic about this great build. Then I woke up and was like "Oh my gosh, I need to get to get on my PC and build that thing, until someone else beats me to it, now that everyone from the last game knows that this is possible. After I got up, booted up my PC and started my Steam client my brain was able to reboot itself, too, and that was when I went back to bed. It was still a great dream, though. I really like RACs, if you couldn't tell before. Hope this story entertains you. :)
Entertaining story, and not quite out of left field as you think. I managed to goof an import code about a year ago now, and I somehow my Butterbee got access to 2 Awesome launchers in the each arm (instead of the SRM-6+A that I was wanting).
@@NinjaLayor I think, equipping mechs with mechs would still be impossible, but congrats to your unique Butterbee? (I Love Catapults) Does it still have the launchers, or did they debug it?
@@neirgara2217 It was flagged as not having weapons (despite having the array of SmPLs) in the MechBay, so while I could probably have saved the build, but I ended up correcting the Awesome Launchers to actually play with the mech.
I’ve been playing a Nightstar version for years. One of my go to mechs when I really want to see that green arrow at the end regardless of how well the team does. 😂
I was running 4xrac2 and 4xLMG on the juggernaut for a bit. Can confirm, its scary dps. Nothing more satisfying than drilling through the core of a kodiak caught out in the open in about 4 seconds.

@@NinjaLayor That's a pity, it would have been awesome (pun intended)
But if there is no Battlemech Operational, then changing it is the only way.
"I found my thrill .... on Echo 5 hill"
Thats a disgusting amount of daka.
I love it.
Great video !
For an absolute dps experience, you should try MX90 with 2*rac5 + 4*AC2 = 33dmg/s 👀
yea may do that one on the annihilator
though for range reasons i pic triple Rac 2 + triple AC 5

"Don't take my leg..." Like he could SEE anything he was shooting at. 😂😂
Nice fade in transition.
its nice that they actually made the chassis useful
RAKKEM DAKKEM ROBUTS!
Sickening.
Best load out ever
THAT is PROPPER DAKKA ... STILL NOT NUFF YA GITT!!!
TBH, I think I'd rather have two Bushwackers with dual RAC5s or triple RAC2s on my team.
CIWS goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt
Has anyone exept me tried clan Marauder with 5 heavy larges?)
