I started work on this music video in March and I would say this is the exact reason I wanted to get an iPad Pro @w@ (re)learning to draw and animate has been a very strange experience. Also this is the first video I've made using DaVinci Resolve. We've moved on from Final Cut Pro until it's viable for me to upgrade MacOS to Catalina :(
Your style of animation reminds me of the Avant-garde stylings of the late 60'-early 70's. You remind me that this style is still very powerful when used the way you do! Outstanding. I have had the feeling the series sold her short on her depth and I'm glad you are giving depth to a character that was more complex
Yeah, this animation shows your work and time. I would love to see you slowly make more of these amazing animated art peices. The art style is very unique and very pleasant to watch. I want to see more of this art style in general even just sketches. The use of the retro vhs editing was a very fitting aesthetic that just oozes from this album as a whole. I recall this was one of the songs from the Queen of Misfits album that wouldn't leave my head. Now it has some pretty great visuals to go along with it. Seriously, I enjoyed that sketchy and rough edges look to the animation. I sincerely hope we get to see more videos like this in the future.

Only a few pony artists that I know of create this kind of modern, or should I say, postmodern type of music media that you make, with all the purposefuly trippy, provocative visuals, simple, yet unnerving lyrics and such. I'm glad we have that, it is most likely the way the pop music industry goes these days and, I think, brony music should follow and excel at that as well to keep itself new and fresh. At least, that's what I would've liked to see :/ Properly beautiful work, both the music and the animation!

Deep and relatable theme... _Regality_ is so very emotional with those long and deep synths... it might be my favorite track from the album because of that. Whoah, I so love the Trixie character depth is _Mad This Time_ , transcribed through the little artworks and animation too. Which makes it quite emotional, as I feel for Trixie. This song (and album) has got to be one of the deepest works about Trixie. I love it a lot because I love her character a lot too, I always found it so deep, and "No Second Prances" was soooo emotional for me and one of my favorite MLP episodes. So glad that you're giving her justice with this!!

After trying to chord it on my guitar I realize just how simple the base and rhythm sections are. For how good it sounds, it really is kept quite simple! The weirder part is that it seems to be all slightly sharp relative to standard tuning? The baseline doesnt seem to be, but the melody all sounds slightly less than half a step flat when I try to play it on a standard tuning guitar.
Once again, you've actually got this amazing voice that's just so full of emotion; I don't even have to listen to the lyrics to know exactly what you're trying to get across. But once I'ma able to actually sit down and really listen, well it somehow manages to become even more emotionally potent. Somehow. Well done. And. . . as if that wasn't enough, you convey these super incredible and compelling stories and ideas with an incredibly catchy tune and such a nice beat. You've been an inspiration for a while now, and this is only reaffirming exactly why that is: an exceptional artist with so much talent spread across such a variety of mediums. That art style is really intriguing, if only because it's done in a way that resurfaces memories that I'm not sure where they're coming from; like you're awakening something inside of me that I had totally repressed for whatever reason.
