Really beautiful scenery and love the change of pace but could we get more long shots rather than all the quick cut editing? The wide drone shots were super cool too!
@@rbecker380 hey buddy thanks for taking an interest in my comment! So I was giving feedback which is something useful to content creators which tells them what their audience likes and dislikes! In fact, did you know making comments on a video directly helps the video get more views? That's right! We are both helping the stuttering skater grow as a youtube channel just by discussing this video! If you have anymore concerns please don't hesitate to ask!
I once skated down the Castle Creek Valley in Aspen, CO behind a world class slalom skateboarder. One of the most terrifying things I've done. Your ability to maneuver while at high speed - it's difficult and real scary.
Love the scenery and the thrill of the super fast skate. Beautiful shots from different views gives amazing perspectives. Keep it up and stay safe. Hope this one gets millions of views 👍
That was amazing! I tried long boarding down LCC about 20 years ago with a friend. Too gnarly for me. You are nuts! Wish there was a speedo on-screen, as I’m sure you were blazing down the canyon.
Looks like a beautiful area. Yeah, I've had speed wobbles a couple of times before and they are scary. Luckily nothing bad happened since I was able to slow down and remember to engage my ankles a little more. Great video!
tip for downhill if you have knee pads for the rare time you may fall you can slide out on the knee pads and wrist pads but hand pucks are best for downhill. If knee pads are under the pants you cant slide out because the pants will catch friction.
BROKEN WRIST.... what did you do? Do we get a video of this? It was skiing wasn't it?!?!?! Sorry to hear about the wrist and glad to see another video! Looks beautiful!!! Heal/Rest up!!!
I didn't expect that! Little Cottonwood is my local canyon growing up. I just got back into blading and have been watching you kill it in New York to see you in my hometown was fun! I've longboarded Little before, but when I was visiting home a couple weeks ago I took my blades down from Alta into the Bird and it was way harder to stay in control on blades than a longboard, for me. You made it look easy. I'm a much better longboarder than a blader and a much better skier than a snowboarder. Funny how that works out. =)
It's always amazing to watch your videos and the way you walk. I would like to know the average speed you can reach when making your videos, I think it would be cool information to describe, just out of curiosity
Hey bud we love your content. My young teenage girls love your content but just a little food for thought. They said “I really wish he wouldn’t use the F bomb”. I understand it’s an intense sport but just some food for thought. Lots of young folks enjoy your content. Keep up the awesome work.
Great video dude! Question: what was you top speed and what was the medium? Thanks, keep make us dream, i wish one day I'll find the guts to do that:))
Have you done ice skating? Theres a river up here in Alaska. Its the portage glacial lake youd skate to from the 3 mouths of the mouth into the turnagain arm. I hear its an all day skate there amd back but the 2-4 hours spent there.🎉😢😮. Bring a bunch of people to carry the nets if you have them and play pond on portage lake.
ARI, for reals though, do you notice a stability improvement with the trinity frame vs a standard double mount frame? Also why not a larger wheel for the faster speeds...?!?! 90mm you crazy!!!!
The size of the wheels doesn't really matter, it's the size of the frames that matters. On a short frame (245-255m), from 35-40 mph you have enormous vibrations. Usually for downhill skating you have 5 wheels of 80 or 90mm.
I’m an engineer and just thought of a battery powered electromagnetic braking system you control with a remote in hand or ring on finger. Electromagnetic because that allows extreme precision, the same amont of force every single time and no physical matter like wheels or ordinary brakes sacrafised. Also of course you still have wheels as a backup to brake. Also the wheels recharge the battery when brakes aren’t in use.
@@thestutteringskater It's very funny because it attracts a lot of attention, especially from veteran skaters like me, sorry to say it's a beginner's mistake to put the wrist protections like that, but on the other hand it could be an Easter egg to attract the attention of the public and for me It worked and I stayed until the end!!! I invite you to watch my Switch Rolling Life channel, I also have a video dedicated to downhill, hugs and I love your work, keep going.

Agreed! It would be nice to just see him skate.
Ya! Plus better music I think too.. perhaps something mysterious and contemplative would do.
I agree. But to be fair, it was an 8 mile stretch, so it would have been probably more like 32 minutes instead of 8.
Just guesstimating
Do you always tell other people how they should make videos to please you? It's his channel, not yours.

I was thinking during that run that those wheels had to be cooked by the end of it. I'm glad you showed them. 😂

Getting to sail down a winding canyon road with that view, I'm jealous lol.
Wow was not expecting that scenery! Congrats on the apparel collab!
Just a few miles from my house. Cool to see you in my home state and a canyon I frequently go up! Keep making sweet videos!
Let's goooo! 🔥🔥 Crazy that your new wheels are done for!
Such a fun project to work on with you, lets do it again soon 🤟🏼
Hell yeah Luke, thanks for making this happen!
Gorgeous vid! Great run!
But how on earth did you put your wrist guards on upsidedown? 🙃
😝
pumped for "all gas minimal brakes" 💪💪
Dude so epic! An a film crew to boot. This would be heaven!
Yes, yes. I'm off to bed now, so I'll have a nice watch when I wake up. 😊

Amazing! I do not have the skill for that!
Well done!
Yay! We've been waiting for this :)
Oh my gooooodness 😍😍😍

Like all and adore the warm-up.
LETS GOOOO
Josh Neuman vibes Rip
Loved this video speed is key!!!
Proud of you bro that was dangerous.🎉
Beautiful scenery man. I can’t skate as good as you, but I love filming myself in nature scenery.
Wow! You’re such a crazy man, dude! Badass…
Beautiful place
You just killed that on a rockered frame right? haha, awesome dude.
Yeah, riding this canyon on a rockered frame was a bit gnarlier than I thought. But I love my Endless frames. I feel the most comfy on them

Josh Neuman smiling from beyond. RIP
omg that was gnarly.... nice............ 🙏

Nice work, amazing views
Kill"in It! Awesome Video...Slide!

WOW! Insane! ❤
I love little cottonwood.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 this should go viral on sport center
love content like this
Welcome to utah, next time try millcreek or big cottomwood canyon or Provo canyon or Parleys. Take your pick!
Dang this was when I saw you guys at Beehive Skateshop. I had no clue ya'll were on to something so epic. That was sick bro!
Nice design and nice skating. I wonder if it's possible to attach and detach decals to be more visible if you need to or don't.
Try Provo Canyon! And the Alpine Scenic Loop!!
Stunning spot to skate ! ! :D
Rolling down at speed on a rockered frames haha there will be deathwobbles:)
You did destroy that bruh! Awesome edit!

i'd love to learn to blade like you man wow
Amazing my dude
As long as we don’t hear “Buttercup” tunes along the way, we are good. 😂
super cool !!!!!
LOVE IT
heh during it i was thinking, how many times do you stop to replace the wheels?
cooked and shook, good times
Great video dude!
Question: what was you top speed and what was the medium?
Thanks, keep make us dream, i wish one day I'll find the guts to do that:))
Those wheels got shredded, any idea what speeds you were doing?
Smooth Dope video 🔥
Thank you for being somewhat suspicious of the glacier activity..."allegedly", lol.
Amazing
You " almost had too much speed " ... bro, what did you think would happen while bombing that gnarly road, lol.
So was there a benefit to putting wrists on wrong hands or was that just an accident?
Deff just an accident haha
Beautiful downhill 🎉 bru! Your legs must have been jello.
max speed hit?

Isn't it harder to slow down and/or control speed with bigger wheels??
I believe its all relative to the skater but you can go faster, slowing down and stopping uses the same techniques. @@jessa.3857

Yay
Which bearings do you use sg7 or ilq9's???
How did you break your wrist? Skating?
What speed did you reach?
What type of blades are those???

What about weight?
Sasquatch County!
2:27 why you did that ?????🤪🤪🤪🤪😲😲
I just messed up haha I typically only wear one on my right hand. Don’t make the same mistake I made
@@thestutteringskater It's very funny because it attracts a lot of attention, especially from veteran skaters like me, sorry to say it's a beginner's mistake to put the wrist protections like that, but on the other hand it could be an Easter egg to attract the attention of the public and for me It worked and I stayed until the end!!! What wheels do you have?
How did his wrist break?
I dont wanna assume anything but…
if they ever make a skate 4 they should add roller skates (it's just a different kind of skating...)
What was the speed ? Lol
Make the difference
Why didn't you skate uphill ? You enjoy going downhill much more this way. You ain't that old, are you?
Yo, I just got those exact skates. first set since the 90s
love the drone shots!
Don't forget check wheel 🛞 before dawn hill l ever failed because forgot 😭😭😭😁😁😁
