@@FranzVonFitzenstrahl I’m sorry to hear you were not happy with the 8300A. It’s true it is not a shout in your face kind of amp, and I imagine it could come across as mellow and soft. For me it’s a beautiful sound that takes me away in the music. What speakers did you pair it to?
That's a great question! While I haven't tried them in pre-amp mode, I can say that the 8300A is definitely a noticeable upgrade compared to the 6000A. It stands to reason that the pre-amp section would also be improved. However, without actually hearing them myself, I can't say for certain.

Hi ,my set up is all Audiolab,6000a, 6000cdp ,2 8300 monoblock , 8300a in preamp is better then 6000a? Thanks dall'Italia
