I use these cooling pads for myself. You may not realize that the cooling only lasts 20 to 30 mins. They can sometimes make me sweaty. key is likely moving after awhile because it becomes too warm for him.

I presume that you have tried adding a pillow? My mum's darling, loves a pillow... which is sometimes my lap! But seriously, she does prefer a pillow and I think it's because she can stretch out fully on her bed and have her head supported. She's not much smaller than Key!

1st...why do I love key SO much? He's so freakin' adorable. 2nd... You said he is cooler on the floor which makes so much sense. 3rd...I'd like to suggest putting a small desk fan under your bed facing him. He will love it. If you keep it on low, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for you. Maybe a parka would help 😜 But seriously. I have a small fan on my bed table. Esp in the summer even with the AC on. I understand being hot when sleeping. I face mine a bit off my face because that's too much air. Good luck. I just want him to be comfy. 💞💞💞

I love Key I hope someday to be able to adopt a Husky, I'll definitely need to get a special vacuum, a brush, a car to take him or her to the vet, some treats, toys, and hopefully I can figure out how to get him or her to stay still while trying to give him or her a bath, I'd also would need a lot of money do to vet bills

For my nearly 2 year old husky, I have a silent night airmax pet bed and he loves it. You might also want to change over the cooling mats and have the smaller one in the upstairs bed and the larger one in the flat one downstairs.

My dog would only sleep on the sofa. He wouldn't even sleep in the hooman beds that were available. Any sort of dog beds were ripped or chewed to bits. Labradors 😶
This might be a strange suggestion but wouldn't a bigger or elevated bed be a better option? You sleep in a closed room and his bed is on the floor against the wall, close to the door and close to your bed. I would think that there's a lack of air circulation keeping him cool. Also his bed seems small for a large Husky like him. He likes the stretch which in part is probably because laying curled up is too warm for him.
I still suspect that what he wants is a double of your bed to sleep on and I. Your room with you. He’d be comfy and happy as he’d have to keep an eye on and you on him.
Otherwise this will always be like kids with eating vegetables or other things not sweets. 😂
