Even late to the party was worth the wait with Dave K. Laugh out loud funny. Love the new bit for "Famous Questions."

I'm glad to hear David's favorite movie is "Life of Brian". Underappreciated genius movie.

If Larry Miller was on this episode it would be the "Bald caustic/sarcastic guy who's in every movie" roundtable.

I don't know who your insurance provider is, but with the one my work is required to provide. You got to pay the first $6000 out of pocket, which is basically the entire price of most procedures of dire need. (Blue cross blue shield) if you where wondering. They suck.
Before Obamacare was in place my work had Aetna, and they really took care of you. Oh, and it was cheaper too, go figure.

I'm lucky my first cancer surgery was before ACA kicked in. Everything went smoothly and seamlessly. My second after the ACA made my insurance un-affordable? Not so much. $5000 later and every year the same thing as the cancer doesn't go away.

    What the hell ..
37 minutes at the beginning and then a what 15 minute commercial yada yada .... the time with Dave, short lived as it was, was great.

I wanted to listen to the Carl Reiner interview, but he got political. I found that out while skimming through the podcast in the iTunes Store. He's a comedic genius, and he and Rob are legendary directors, but they're unabashed political activists. They're always on and always tweaking their opposition.

They're actually Communists. Did you know McCarthyism had nothing to do with the blacklist? It was actually the HUAC behind that. So why do these limousine liberals call it McCarthyism? To paint him as some sort of monster and divert your attention, even though his focus was on the Communist Infiltration of the Federal Government. Guess what? He was vindicated years later in the Venona Papers... and nobody talks about it.

Its a problem if you can't listen to people who don't agree with you. And when you make comments like this the lowkey antisemites like Sgt come out of the woodwork with their tinfoil hat conspiracies. That's where people who close themselves off end up.

I didn't close myself off enough to not buy Carl Reiner's two recent audiobooks. He occasionally got political in them, but for one thing, the references were dated by the time I listened, and another thing, his life story was intriguing. And as someone that was watching "The Dick Van Dyke Show" on Hulu at the time, it was an interesting listen.

I stopped laughing with Carl after he came out out as an avowed Satanist and Kabala witch doctor. Not America's values if you axe me!

Host is boring and not funny ( although he wants to be) i get it it's a ease back format but if i wanted to look at four people talking whatever i would go into a bar xD we couldof learn so much more about David and his work if it wasn't for wierd an boring show turn and their internal jokes which we don't understand...

Koechner was unintentionally late. That was about twice as long as the longest intro was.
