I've never sewn in my life before, but I wanted to do something to occupy my time social distancing from home, so I borrowed a sewing machine and set out to find the perfect, functional yet very stylish face mask pattern. This pattern is more complicated then typical face masks you'd find, however easy to follow instructions..So far I've made several of these masks for friends and family and all them have said how well made they are. I've added interfacing as well as a aluminum nose bar for better fit and they are a very nice design thank you so much for sharing. Stay safe!!!

미싱이 없어서 손으로 꼬맸어요. 엄지손가락에 멍이 들었지만 하나 만들어놓고 너무 뿌듯한거 있죠. 미국에서 마스크 못 구하고 있었는데 너무 감사합니다.

미국에서 마스크 구하기가 너무 어려워 만들어 쓰고 있는데 여러 튜토리얼 중 제일 따라하기 쉽고 만족스럽네요. 감사드려요! 저는 옷감 뒤집고 나서 코 닿는 부분에 와이어를 넣었는데 남편이 코에 잘 맞는다고 아주 좋아하네요.
와이어 잘 넣으셨네요...저는 넣을까 고민하다가 세탁이 힘들거 같아서 안 넣었거든요....잘 하셨네요 ^^
@@sewingmellow 만들어서 쓰는 마스크는 세탁할 때는 손으로 주무르면 헝컬어져서 안 좋더라구요. 그래서 비누칠이나 소독거품비누를 이용해서 손으로 거품을 밀면서 씻으면 모양도 헝컬어지지 않고 모양그대로 오래사용할 수 있을 것 같아요. 근데 패턴을 어디서 다운받는지 못찾았네요. 아 찾았어요^^
I made a face mask for my mom, dad and brother. Each of them with different color fabric to fit their personality. They all loved them. They didn't have washable face masks for going out.

Such a sweet note of thought. Here in Hawaii, I noticed a Korean tourist couple with these pre-made masks with this similar design, waiting in line at this bakery. I found similar ones, on UA-cam, that were made from 3 different countries and made them. They were ok but then I thought to search Korean 3d masks and found yours! Can't wait to try it. Yes, this brings a little sunshine to my day, thank you.

I love your mask. I have made many for my home and now I am making some for friends. I live in North America and have tried a lot of different patterns with this one being my favourite. I (female) and my partner (male) both prefer the adult oversized sizing. He likes the width of it and I like the length. I dart the chin to make it hug my chin and it's beyond perfect!. Thank's for creating and sharing. You're helping a lot of people :)

This is a great mask but too small in even the largest size for me and my spouse here in North America. I will try and make the pattern larger. Thank you very much for creating this great pattern! You are helping a lot of people around the world.
When printing the pattern, increase the magnification a little.
Or cut the center to resize it.

I just made a few of these masks and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't fog up my glasses (will have to test try them). Loved the video and the pattern is well thought out!
My husband is wearing glasses and he says this mask is comfortable. It's good to be helpful.

I would like to make this mask. My question is, in the video there is the grey outer fabric and the blue lining. Where/when did the pink/red fabric get added. Am I missing something?

I love it! I've seen this mask constructed in other ways, but this is the best to me. It seems less bulky and you have control over having beautiful seams! (for you sloppy people, we should not see the back from the front, lol)

Do we need spesific fabric?
I have tried with cotton fabric, and the result not good. The mask didn't "stand" like yours. So, it can't seen like 3d mask fabric

Did you cut the elastic two pieces at 20cm or one piece at 20cm and then cut the=at piece in half to get two 10cm pieces?
@@otealuajones8289 One rubber band is about 20cm long.
Since the length of the rubber band is different for each individual, please measure it yourself.

Hello, I made this mask. It turned out great! My question is. Is the filter supposed to cover the mouth only? Because the nose part is only fabric. Just want to make sure.
Cover your mouth and nose.
The part where the filter does not enter is the ridge of the nose.

I love this mask! Thank you very much for sharing it. I already made adult size masks and I'm surprised that it didn't fog my glasses. I'm planning to make kid sizes but I don't know the length of the garter. May I know how long the garter for the kid's size?

Take your ear and measure the length.
The length is about 15cm to 18cm.
