I once was in a apartment in new Jersey, riversdale and I saw for the first time thunderstorm in America I was pissing my pants because it was flashes after flashes and boom after boom. I left America really threatening about the weather there.
1:40 ya the strike was cool...... but their are some "sparks" on the ground just above where the "main" strike hits

right around 1:09 (all happens BEFORE you say "dicey")

i'm wondering what the sparks were
maybe power lines "shorting" out? which caused the ground a ~mile or 2 closer to become charged??

idk..... doesnt look like headlights reflecting off a raindrop either (which was my first "debunk")
also doesnt look like "leeders"

anyone have any other ideas?
Do you guys ever have tornadoes in Australia like we do in the US? Very vivid lightning oh my goodness mate!! Great job on those videos though!!

Oh if you do ever get up into Ontario, Canada again, wicked summer storms on Huron are great and a beaut spot to catch them is Manitoulin Island. Dark and loads of lightning.

That's how the aliens entered the tripods in War Of The Worlds, they ride the lightning from up in the atmosphere down into the ground where the tripods (and the edible panties) are hidden.

Absolutely stunning Daniel, well done. Storm chasing really is a labour of love. But if you're in that right spot, i know from experience that my knees start shaking with excitement and I don't know where to look. And for those that don't know, NSW and SE Qld are thunderstorm factories and the highways provide excellent viewing 👌

That's the Big Merino, a tourist attraction in the town of Goulburn (pop ~30,000).
I used to live there (the town, not the sheep), it is a very nice town, but I can't say the same about many of the people... being a victim of bullying was part of the reason I moved away.
