You simply haven't got enough people in the city for the amount of Commercial building you have. Keep an eye on the RCI bar at the bottom.......It's asking for heaps more residential zoning.
16:20 - Great example of how Cities: Skylines 2 seems to differ from the original title in terms of commercial demand. In sprawling low density areas you only really need a couple of lots here and there to meet the local demand for convenience goods like groceries (and maybe the odd fuel station), because population density is so much lower in comparison. Otherwise the higher customer amount is focused on areas that support mixed use zoning or high density businesses. Much more realistic!
You just need to look at the RCI bar on the bottom. Lowering taxes makes the bars grow larger, more taxes reduces demand and shrinks them. The rest does not matter as long as you put everything reasonably close togheter.
Oh hey there buddy just checking in from the local timmies EH I really hecken hope that when the game drops you bring us timbukton in CS 2 that will forever go down as one of the all time great CS Series! Another amazing video and I can't wait for the next one from you!
I think parks should be placed like farms with nodes und get custom filled with various Items like footpaths, benches, trees, flowers, and fireplaces. Maybe in different Categories like playground, nature park, wood, skatepark, national park, royal park .... you could do so mush more than theses rectangles.
your commercial desirability is centered around medium density housing, build more medium density around shops, less commercial around low density residential.
I think the reason you're having issues with your commercial districts not having enough customers is that you increased the taxes on residential. But then you lowered taxes on commercial. The issue is like current day. Taxes increased on residential means they don't have enough money to go shopping. So lowering taxes on the commercial wouldn't solve the issue just bring the residential taxes back down to 10% and see if that fixes the issue. I hope to see more of the playthrough, cheers!

He simply didn’t have enough residents. He had high demand for low density and medium density residential buildings basically the whole video, and he only gained about 1000 residents. He really just needed to zone more residential
And he failed to understand what the infographics were telling him... all the commercial complaining was in the white for customer availability. As you say@@onenonlyproductions7086 he just needed to build a lot more residential
He should get more residential and then bring them to those streets. Some of those streets don't have a lot of customers because there are no dense residential nearby. It could be good to replace one or two of the commercial there with some row houses next to a shop. But yeah he has a very low population so maybe just too much commercial for them all. He lowered taxes but that pushed up demand, it helps with profits but he doesn't have a profit problem as such.

You need to build the commercial zones on the spots with a lot of customers and build medium/high residential around it
There is a huge residential demand... so yes not enough customers.
your commercial desirability is centered around medium density housing, build more medium density around shops, less commercial around low density residential.
Here in the first hour. Your videos are so good. Keep up the work
some of your office zoning and part of the industrial zoning you did at 21:00 doesn't touch the road.
I wanted to scream at the video when I saw he missed both of those!

The default maps are so bland every cities looks sad and boring, especially with an ugly NA layout
That's not the map's fault. The maps are very nice.
