Fun Fact: The no leaving the ground level you skipped in 2:57 is still uncleared to this day and is a level team 0% still has to beat since it's a 2020 level.
Levels with clear conditions like this have no business being this long. I'm convinced that creators only make levels like this to show off how much patience they have. I don't think they take the player's level of patience into consideration, only a masochist would be expected to try and beat such a level. That said, if you're playing Super Expert into the tens of thousands of clears, I think it's safe to say that you're a bit of a masochist.
20:13 A lot of times, usually in speedrun levels, I see ON/OFF switch blocks that you are supposed to not hit. I'm sure you've seen this many times yourself, given how many levels you've played in SMM2. Why they are there, you ask... simple, it's the creator trying to sucker you into wasting time (or a life), because you are used to having to hit every ON/OFF switch in a speedrun level. An attentive player may be able to see when the ON/OFF is already in the correct state and know not to hit a certain block. It's basically a case of Simon Says, the creator is testing you to see if you're paying attention.

For anyone else wondering, there was no dev route on the last level. There was, however, a softlock trap in the 1-up mushroom pipe.

How did you go from 80 something lives to 60 something lives? Genuinely curious
40 minutes of skipping and playing levels out of endless, so I just cut everything to the next cleared level.
