We really don't import from Blender into Unity. We export mesh files into a standard FBX format and them pull those into Unity. If Unreal can export a terrain as an OBJ, then in theory it should work.
There is not. The course file is encrypted and uneditable. The only way you could do it if is if you get in touch with the original designer and they send you the unity files. Even then you have to be careful cuz that can be a violation of various and user license agreements.
can you collaborate on any of these softwares? I was thinking of using this as a school project for some of my high school students for a class about online tools.
There is a subsequent video in this series that goes into great detail about the various software programs used. Check out the table of contents for links to additional videos. There are more than 80 videos in the series.
Thats a great intro! Thanks for doing it. I was wondering how involved it moght be to make a course.
Does the computer need to be as strong and graphicly sharp to build a course as it is to Play on GSPro?
ua-cam.com/video/7Ksf3YwJfX4/v-deo.html In general yes. You can get away with a slightly less powered PC.
could i make a landscape in unreal and do this? i would think if blender can import to unity it should?

Is there a way to edit a course that is on GSpro already? In other words, import a course that is installed already and make changes.

Are there any software limitations to keep me from building courses on a Mac?
Yes, you won't be able complete the Unity portion on a Mac.
