Lol sauce is a great player but he did not have chase on lock down chase was torching sauce all game but sauce made some good plays but chase had 7 targets and caught 6 of them not many yards but he’s still catching crucial passes that sauce should have been better at stopping but chase just had him beat most of the game

Sauce locked up Chas most of this game. What I didn’t like is the Jets coaching staff plays so much soft zone press that the yards some of the Bengals receivers got doesn’t tell the full story. Also I noticed the blown coverages on the big plays the Jets seem to have to much communication on certain things obviously overdoing it. They need a ball hawk safety so keep things in order because they have two starting box safeties which won’t work. They have Davis at FS but always hurt and he still needs to polish his game
Sauce has been great through the first 3 games. idk if there was a miscommunication between Sauce, Quincy and Joyner but i’m pretty sure Quincy the one that fucked up that zone coverage to allow that TD to make is 27-9, Sauce was on the flat the whole time so i’m assuming Quincy was supposed to get the back zone behind Sauce, but they could probably be interchangeable.
I rewatched the play and the rest of the d was playing man on the other side so unless they were only playing zone on that side I think sauce blew the coverage

They were in man, sauce didn’t want to take Jamarr because of the possibility of a rub and giving up a TD so you call banjo outside corner take outside inside defender take inside receiver. But IMO I think sauce just didn’t want to give up a TD, that was a weak rub and you gotta take Jamarr on the gl regardless of a rub especially if y’all are in man. That was a weak rub and mixon is basically a non factor in this play
They were to supposed to do watchu call “mixer” the corner will take the first out route and the inside defender will take the first inside route. Joyner was supposed to be playing high, it was a combo coverage because of the empty formation
@@jameskeenan1351 in football there is this thing called in/outing receivers. this means in man coverage the outside guy (sauce) has the first out and the inside guy (quincy or joyner) has the first in. you run it in man so that the inside or outside guy has an easier time covering and so that nobody gets pic'd by route combos like that.
