Wow, the Magtech steel case 115 has a little higher velocity than the brass case 115 Magtech out of the same Beretta 92. Looks like they compensated for the lack of fire forming and gas escaping
Magtech makes a solid product. I’ve shot lots of this stuff lately without any issues. Academy sports brand monarch steel case 9mm is just rebranded magtech it even says made in Brazil. New to ur channel but I’ve purchased ammo from sg several times. Will continue as well Ty for the test!
Just tried this stuff it runs flawlessly through my dirty Glock. Burns clean only thing I noticed where some sparks on a couple rounds. But no issues at all. I would recommend it based on price point
Yes, significant! I had 6 pistols completely morph after shooting 50 rounds of this ammo. The 9mm's in question, have chambers that are now only suitable to shoot 12 gauge ammo or 50 BMG, your choice.
He's trolling. I just ran some of this in my beretta 92 and Glocks, feeds and fires with no issues. Don't believe the fuddlore about accelerated wear, and if it do wear out, buy a new barrel!
@@beavisroadhog9629 yup.. It's OK tho.. I found a range that doesn't care.. Damn shame they have a 300 dollar initiation fee.. I'll just make sure not to buy anymore steel case rounds..
Seems like they could nix even more off the cost of this ammo if they didn't use a copper jacket, Steal more of Tula's homework and go for a zinc plated mild steel jacketed projectile.
Don’t use them if you have a sig, it fucked up my extractor and voids your warranty. Spend a little extra for the brass and save yourself money in the long run in repairs and maintenance.
I reviewed this on my channel a while back and was very impressed with its performance.
Thanks for the review! Made me comfortable enough to go and buy a brick of it
How did it do?
Well, you sold me on steel case magtech. I miss the cheap russian steel
Thanks for the test Sam.

I use brass magtech ammo at my indoor range. It works with no problems. The range however forbids steel case ammo.
Will there be any exhilarated wear in the chamber because of the zinc steel case ?

Exhilarated wear is so......exhilarating!!!
Won't ship to you anyway, don't worry....
Nonsense.
Do you notice your guns getting dirtier faster using steel case ammo?
Steel definitely runs dirtier than brass, even the crappiest brass.
I just put a magnet on my magtec steel case 9mm box of 50... Stuck right to it... How will it pass the much bigger magnet at the range?
Did you stick it to the tip of the projectile or to the case?

So many wannabe experts in the coments. Some guys have to say something even when they have nothing to say.

FJB! Love those peepers - cant believe they dont laugh at you in Stillwater! Thanks for the ammo review and a fair price on quality ammo.
I've shot about 200 rounds of this ammo, no problem. The price has been great. Online about 13.50 for a box of 50. Very good for range and training.
Where did you find it for that cheap?
