Instead of going back to Africa , they must fight for their basic rights. Nd in India there are many Indian communities still fighting for being discriminated, humiliated and demoralised nd they are not going anywhere , they are fighting in their country. So firstly they should accept themselves Indian nd then challenge the govt for their rights.
But, the problem is they're too reclusive and attached to the forest... Government should set up schools in their village itself... But, government schools are in a pathetic state in the big cities itself and private schools won't come there... And those who do manage to get out and improve their lives, they don't come back to help their community... The initiative should come from Siddis who are educated and now are in good positions... They mentioned about the brahmin community, there are brahmins in abject poverty too... But, the difference is they somehow manage to get their kids educated even if they'll end up having nothing to eat... This initiative has made the Brahmin community prosperous despite having no reservations and quota benifits... This is the reason why communities with all the quotas and reservation benifits are not able to surpass the brahmin kids when it comes to academics... That drive should come in all the communities... Brahmins never waited for any governments to help them... People say that the brahmin community has a historical advantage, but the only advantage I see is that as a community they have realized the importance of education and how its power to uplift the quality of life.
@@pck85 There's no denying that brahmins have been getting social privileges for years nd whether they are financially strong or not but they always get respect nd consideration which many communities like Siddis are still not getting no matter how highly educated nd intellectuals are they. How can anyone hear them if they refuse to speak and remain reclusive... Their power of will must drive the society to stand by them.. No one else can do that for them.

I brought two Siddi women to the U.S. for a festival, possibly the first time any Siddi women has been invited to the U.S.
The point here is that Siddis find it difficult to settle in communities outside of theirs villages or rather it is made difficult for them to do so because of the racism that they face in India which is their country, towards them. Why don't you sponser them in India? They are living in India from 10nth century. They will not leave India, as this is their own country. They created empires here, they played a role in history, they were warriors known for their military strength. They are known for their riches earned through virtual monopoly on sea trade. You have seen one side of the story. This story is a selected story from a remote village of India depicting some people outside from mainstream. My extended family living in a remote area is not in a better position than these guys. Siddis are spread all the western coast from Gujrat to remote South. Their economic and educational conditions vary vastly. Yes caste system is a reality, but it has nothing to do with ethnicity. And yes we all came from Africa, why don't you people sponser whole india to your continent.

Why should everybody live in the city and why does it look like one can only get a better life in a city? In Europe, most well to do and talented people, live in villages. Life in the village is preferred by most people to city life. Every village in Europe, is self sufficient. Why can't we have the same mindset in Africa? Africa should stop destroying their towns and villages by selling lands to foreigners while they themselves move into the city with lot of hardship and suffering. Let us make our villages self sufficient by developing them. Every village should have a school, library, hospital, bank and a community or entertainment centers. Who is going to grow the food we eat if we all leave to the cities?
bath koviac even in Europe people didn’t want to live in the villages back in the days. It was seen as been poor and uneducated. All the schools and the jobs were in the cities. Even now young people tend to live in the cities in Europe. Because that’s where things are happening. It’s only once they get other the hype off the city that people seattle back in the country side. Hopefully people will change their mindset.
There are many villages which are sitting empty in Europe. Some even offer free housing to discourage their youth from leaving or to entice newcomers to settle in them.
The new generation youngsters have been branching small villages and has made a school, involves govt., and teach these schools. They themselves had to go far and learnt from that.Slow but good advancement,in Kenya.
Trust me it's not a mindset thing for Africa, you made valid points but mostly misinformed ones. There are very few talented Europeans living in villages and that's an even recent development. The villages are definitely overlooked by the government and country people who reside in cities but this is not a mindset . As he said in this village they prefer the village life, they're used to it, and they don't want to go to school whether or not the teachers treat them well, children anywhere in the world are like that, they don't want to go until they get encouragement, so imagine children growing up to know their parents and no one in their environment went to school, I'm sure they wouldn't see the need for it. As an African that grew up here and still lives here, ONE THING ANY AFRICAN KNOWS FOR SURE IS THAT AFRICAN PARENTS PRIORITISE EDUCATION SO MUCH THAT IT CAN BECOME UNHEALTHY EVEN. So I just wanted to correct you that this isn't a mindset thing. There was no such thing as western schooling pre colonialism, and after it had to be mandated because people were okay with their trading and farming lives.
Another brilliant video. Thanks for the wonderful job. African government should try to uplift the African economy and give back to people of African descent all over the world.
So this is the fact nd thats why they are blaming brahminisn for them bcoz all knows that what indian social structure is all about nd who is accountable for this.
@@NotSoChaotic02 If they're not respected just because of their appearance, then it means that the society is ignorant... In this case both sides need to be made aware to let go of their prejudices and have an open mind... But, what I'm trying to say is, siddis should take strong initiatives from their side... How can anyone hear them if they refuse to speak and remain reclusive... Their power of will must drive the society to stand by them.. No one else can do that for them.
@@pck85 That's why I am saying that instead of expecting others they should come in mainstream nd fight for themselves.

Thank you for sharing this video. I have been to a Siddi community where there are several women receiving an education and return to the village to uplift other young Siddis. I brought two Siddi women to the U.S. for a festival, possibly the first time any Siddi women has been invited to the U.S.
May God give you more strength and resources to do more. Amen. Thanks.
The point here is that Siddis find it difficult to settle in communities outside of theirs villages or rather it is made difficult for them to do so because of the racism that they face in India which is their country, towards them. You are hearing in this video that at school they are ignored and Pushed aside and even beaten by these people who are supposed to be educationalist. Sir I proud of you.

This is the reason why I can't migrate to any country outside Africa
@william Khims if they are not Africans then who are they?
@william Khims These people ARE Hebrews (aka Africans)! The problem is you don't know your history! Their ancestors were taken from Africa as slaves, just like mine was. You need to watch the documentary called Hebrews to Negroes ua-cam.com/video/4kvKH7e5TaY/v-deo.html and then maybe those of you that are still living in Africa will understand that we are all one people. Many of your Tribes are all Hebrews (Yoruba, Igbos, Ewes, etc.) are all descendants of the Children of Israel...YES! the same people who Moses led out of Egypt into Israel and who later migrated across the continent. There will be another exodus because Yah said he was going to gather us from the 4 corners of the earth and bring us back to our land. Stop thinking you're different from the rest of us in the diaspora. We are all from one family..Jacob is our forefather and Abraham our great grandfather. The colonizers have done a great job in dividing us, but Bob Marley told us to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery...many of us are still enslaved in the mind. It's time to wake up and see what's really going on. If we stay divided, we will NEVER get back what we lost. Don't you think it's time? Just because they do not look like you, you think they're not family? Continue to think like that and stay in ignorance.

U r correct, but don't forget that these Siddis didn't choose to go to India.
@@visualpoet1 This is the reason why I prompted to point out who are they? Because their forefathers were in captivity so called slavery I mean our forefathers were, so they are our brothers and sisters as Africans because I love my people and the continent of Africa as an African son. Thank you, so much for sharing their Story.
They are so beautiful 😍 love ❤️ my brothers and sister so sorry that we got separated.
If this black guy come to Africa with he's Indian accent. Will Just assume he's making jokes of Indian accent 🤣🙌
No, we know and already have many black Indians in Africa. Even the so called white Indians are not so white anyway. The caste system is a system that has been bypassed by time and should not exist in the 21st century.
dinah salim Their only nearly white as they are mixed blood with Europeans.

khushal Singh Mr Singh. blacks and brown and light skinned peoples are born all over the world, it doesn’t depend on the weather. I have blonde haired blue eyed people in my family, and very dark, and brown skinned, brown and green eyed born in North and East Africa, Morocco and Ethiopia, Ghana, Ireland, Germany, France, Malaysia, and the north of USA, all a mixture of very dark to would pass for white if you didn’t know better, and brown of different shades. What’s in a colour. If your an arsehole then you are.You are shit.

U keep encouraging me to want to take that trip to Yellapur / India as a whole, someday😩😩😩. I would love to sit down with them and talk.💕💕 Thank u so much for ur videos bro.
not just there they live in Gujrat State as well
These people don’t need a sit down and talk.
They need action for upward mobility.
these people are talented in their village ways, it's wrong to say that they are not talented, I believe they know things that others are not aware of, they are people who we should study, the school is some peoples idea of education and the forests is another people's education, I will right now give away a lot to live an energetic forest life, to wake up to trees full of fruits, the cacophony of birds and animals, and a fresh river not so far away, mmmmm I could dream onnnn, then wake up to the useless city life of stress, walls and buildings, roads and cars ugh
The educated among them have a great job to do in ensuring that their brothers and sisters are shown the light.
Let the Indians in Africa feel the same that these people are going through in India. Time Africa stand up for their own where ever they may be..
That can never happen. It is not right nor fair. And besides, those in power suffer from great inferiority complexes to ever take such action.
That's what I am saying.. let Africans start treating Asian , Indians, and whites the same as how Africans get treated in their country.
Two wrongs do not make a right. Treat everyone with kindness-not because they are kindhearted, but because you are.
African descent people are congenitally idiots, and African leaders generally worst than idiotic ignorants. My roots are Etiopia, but I was born in the Caribbean. Our peoples are so damned that they welcome, embrace everybody else except their own. We are rejected by every other "race". We don't have the intelligence to do the same to them. Who are we?
Agreed..Two wrongs makes it right and even,,,,Give back what is thrown at you.Turning the other cheek is foolish and a sign of extreme weakness and stupidity
I have the greatest respect for these people. How long will black people suffer discrimination and racism...
It's only due to the most high and the blessing the Creator has bestowed upon us, the Black Race. We are not to wait for others to respect us, respect yourself and all others. We are an example for the world, and no matter what is said or the blame they try to put on our race, it is due to the favor and love Elohim has for us. We are a strong race. Remember, he only gives you what you can handle. All blessings to our Creator and you.

@Shin90 true, they might not want to marry me, anyway I'm married now, I can't even check my luck
They are much better where they are ...they have everything they need.. and im sure are happy together.
The education system is only an indoctrination into a tax paying system where you have to buy you food rather than picking it fresh from a tree or the ground!
Much love to these beautiful people!
In Haiti countryside too.I think it in our blood we refuse to change.
There are so many black people living in very bad conditions across the globe despite all the resources God bless Africa with. It always baffles me.
@Black Queen
It couldn't be more well said! Greed among most African politicians is the root cause of our problem. They want it all for themselves.

When do we start asking all these questions about us AFRICANS.
They are the true indigo/ melinated carbon Indigenous peoples, , not the white Aryan VEDIC hindu!! the true Brahma/ AB- RAM, RAMA PEOPLE were an ancient blackskinned SUMERIAN( Elamite/ tamil/ black people) in MESOPOTAMIA they were SUMERIAN PRIESTS ! perfect eg ABRAHAM his brother HARAN and FATHER TERAH!!
Blackskinned people lived everywhere in this God given planet, it's their right
What you don't know is, there are many Indian communities live in this same condition. Life is harder for many poor people in India (not just Siddis).

What kind of education are you talking about? Hope it's not your kind of crazy western kind of education.
Sun Rise must be from the West, very closed-minded, or so far removed from reality that s/he would think "every body has the right to get education." Then again, sometime education may not help some folks considering that Sun Rise spelled everybody like its 2 words. Just saying. Think b4 u type.
Education is the right of Indian citizens. Indian government giving free education to children upto 14 years age. And the lunch is also free for children known as Mid Day Meal. There are also reservation in jobs & education for tribes, deprived class and minorities. And it's common all over India.Siddis children dropped out from school by their own. Some people still have narrow mind that's why is still in use to give priorities to needy community. Beating children for poor performance in class is also common for everybody. But govt banned this recently. India have huge population so huge no. Of children in class. It's hard to pay attention to each student. If someone failed in class then they have to repeat. That's why children discontinue the class.
