Awesome - as you can see, not much to it (unless you have NMEA 183)

Have been following your videos for quite sometime and enjoy them very much. I'm learning a great deal from your presentations. I have older Garmin MFDs (circa 2004 & 2008) on my 1986 Nova Sundeck Trawler and am thinking of upgrading them. Have noticed yours at the upper helm and had a couple questions, if you don't mind. Which year/model Garmin MFD/Chartplotter do you have? What is the Raymarine device adjacent to it? What is reason/purpose for having two VHF radios? Look forward to hearing from you and seeing your next video.

Thank you so much for watching our videos! We really appreciate it.
My chart plotter on the upper helm is the latest Garmin model - a 1243xsv. A bit pricey but worth it. The Raymarine next to it is an older model - I think it’s an A73. I use it strictly to display my engine gauges which are all electronic.
I have 2 VHF radios on the upper helm as well as the lower helm. That way I can keep one on channel 16 and the other on whatever working channel I am using. In south Florida I will keep it on 9 for all the bridges. When transiting the Okeechobee Waterway I keep it on 13 for the locks. When pulling into a marina I will have it set to their working channel. That way when they say “can you switch to channel 68”, I am already there. 😉

Pretty much - it was nice. There is one more optional wire I may hook up. If wired to a switch, it allows you to turn off the AIS transmitter so no one can see you.
