You got it all under control Ben like it's a no big deal . Molly got you covered and you got good help . You got to love it when a plan comes together . Team BEN IS ON A ROLL 👍🇺🇸
6:55 that mind set is damn good info. That mind set can and will work in everyone's Job. This mind set will make everyone's life easier that is involved in the Job. Very well said and good info coming from a young person. For you to think that way tells me you had good parents and adults in youth 👍👍👍👍✌️
Just wanted to say normally I’m not into watching row crop videos or channels normally I’m more of a cattle guy but I am thoroughly enjoying this channel and have been starting to watch other row crop channels as well.
Enjoy the vid👍you are right Ben most boss understand when things goes wrong. Although I experience few situations like one I did harvest work, the boss told me before I started job he didn’t anything smash up, broken or paint taken off. I found out last worker wasn’t paying attention, my advice turn up 15 minutes early, grab gear for day, know where’s what in machinery shed if need tools/parts, read operation manuals when you got spare time n write down checklist n the problems then handling info to the boss. Treat equipment like it was your own. Last thing don’t be lazy, the boss does watches when he can.
My proudest moment working on a farm in about 1963.. Broke a piece of equipment, nobody around. My first attempt at welding, and it worked. It sure wasn't pretty. And, I went back to work, tilling ahead of the planter. Showed my boss (The Farmer) my repair. His comment " it sure ain't pretty, but you got it back in the field, and that is what is important." I'll fix it later!" Sure made me feel like a million bucks.
So from what we see- Bandit will throw himself down in the dirt to keep from having to climb up into a John Deere, but will zip right up the steps of a New Holland. What an incredibly intelligent dog! Everybody needs a blue heeler - and a blue tractor!
I learn to make things work. I was helping the neighbor driving truck. If I had a problem I made something work until a rain day come along. Some times that rain day couldn't come soon enough. Ha ha that one night we got rained out the boss pulls out a little piece of paper and asked what needed to be fixed. I told him you're going to need a notebook for my list. It was not uncommon to have 8 to 10 things wrong between the 2 trucks.
Farm woman to the rescue! Running for parts keeps the day going. It's great to see you getting corn planted in the ground. Hope planting season keeps going well for you guys.
Hey Ben, enjoy your videos along with your co-star Bandit. I see you use Champion brand seeds. My nephew, Joe Malfait developed the Champion brand many years ago here in Woodburn Indiana and sold it to the Iowa boys a few years ago. Looks like you and Cole the Cornstar are good customers. Keep up the good videos.
I feel your pain, my heeled Loki absolutely loves riding in the tractors however he too does not know how to utilize the “ angle” and he tends to act the same when I pick him up to go in the tractor. #everybodyneedsablueheeler
Nice to see you thinking beyond the part that broke, I.e. what caused it to break. I’d take an air ride seat in a climate controlled cab over the open air, steel seat tractor my grandfather first had. Waiting for the day when tractors have hover ability, then the implement can be lifted through the mud, maybe.
Something to think about for a young guy to get into ag is working on a research farm for a seed company. I worked on a research farm and really enjoyed it. I planted with 7000 planters that were modifier to plant hills or short rows with a 3 foot alley between the different varieties. I started with the old check wire to control when the seed was dropped. That is GPS controlled now. You wont see any 10 MPH planting there. You go so slow that sometimes it seem like you would have to speed up to stop. Maybe this may give someone an idea to a good job. We need young people on the farms.
Being mechanically inclined helped turn a lot of "its broke" calls to the boss turned into "it's fixed" calls, course there was the odd time or two where those situations were more of an asking forgiveness rather then permission kinda deals, lol
Issue with getting into farming from last video... if you want to be a farmer and have no land and no equipment, you have a 1% chance of becoming one...
Best line ever . Going to Wayne . Ben u must have hit something hard . Wayne. Oh yea... I hit that convert out there. 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😂😂 Don't feel bad wayne. I would show u what I did today to my mower but UA-cam won't let us. I hit a huge tree root in some tall grass been to blade knock the deck back into the blade then the blade put a huge gouge. In the deck... 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤬🤬🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Not good .. feel ur pain Wayne. I really do. Lol.
I actually admire second generation more than 10th Generation. Not that I have any disrespect for 10th Generation. My father started a farm and the designated son chose not to continue it. Farming is difficult
I see you have jake gyllenhaal working for u now show biz must be slow
Now you are definitely riding in style Ben !!!
Everyone needs a Wayne to help and talk to. Love it.
You got it all under control Ben like it's a no big deal . Molly got you covered and you got good help . You got to love it when a plan comes together . Team BEN IS ON A ROLL 👍🇺🇸

My heeler does the same thing. Rolling onto his back. They sure are some of the craziest dogs.

Trucks are always a pain unless you’re running 100k trucks
I like your 200,000 dollar mobile trampoline

Wait a second, I thought Molly was the welder.........good thing you weld better than you throw!
I want a plow like that to do my 40x40 garden.....
Ammonia over, Bandit is out day care jail and is back.

Funny, there is the green bar. You have been using red and blue so far.

So if a new Holland is a sad Deere, wouldn't a case be a POed Deere, makes sense right, because the case pulls harder to blow off steam
Hope all is going well today by my friend love the videos and I’m a huge supporter
I’ve never seen Buggs Bunny with a BEARD before !

Roland Hemmann speed up to stop. That’s a good one. I’m going to have to use it sometime.
How did a good Dutch kid get to southern IA?
explain how the corn seed get's through that seeder.
Ben, you and Austin need to learn to speak Ble Healer because Bandit wanted to try a bite of Austin's carrot in the truck!!

Do you think Cole the cornstar s two case s make enough tears so daddy proper tractor runs free ?
Angus Duncan probably pays to run it.
Wait!, bandit got his self up onto the blue tractor... does Deere have to make dog steps now 😂👌
YES. Dog safety and comfort is "JOB 1"
Always have to have a little fun during the day with a friendly wages
No phone, no lunch, no coffee, yikes. Early morning?
Looks like you need to color coordinate your equipment! Seems to work better that way.
Guess the bolt was to strong. Bandit did it!
How many acres do you farm
What size do you need 7/8 or 15/16? 7/8 I think. Ends up using 15/16. Might need to give her a pay raise lol 😂😂
The most asked question from a farmer...hey hunny can you run 2 countys over i need a part...4 times a week
Benalator tractor cab please
What’s with the blue lasted I known
Green and Orange didn’t Fade in to blue!!
Brayden Bowman it’s just a sad John Deere.
Is tillage yoga similar to goat yoga? Asking for a friend...
Abel Wild it’s closer to planter yoga
Ben what’s it like to farm with bugs bunny I bet it’s an awsome time hahaha
ya until he eats a carrot with his mouth open the whole time hahaha
Issue with getting into farming from last video... if you want to be a farmer and have no land and no equipment, you have a 1% chance of becoming one...
Is "Farmer Fixed" generally permanent?
Only when you fix it better than original.
You sure bandit done do doggie yoga before getting it the tractor lol
👍👍👍👏👏👏❤❤❤

In reality we all have those moments where you have to call the boss and tell him his wallet just got a whole lot smaller
For sure the ugliest "rabbit" I have ever seen in your pick up. Needs a shave.
