For me Rb1, Benson looks really good, Rb2 Brooks, Rb3 Ray Davis it gets hard for me to seperate after that. Irving has the most eye popping highlights I love how he turns his elusiveness into power he seemed carry piles the most with his size somehow. I can't count him out but I'm sure he can do what he does at the next level. I'm not sure Wright should be slept on his explosiveness is special. I have pretty much just watched highlights but I think it's a deep class.
I think you right about Benson hes a stud. You have a future in scouting, digging a lot of these vids
Love a UA-camr who isn’t afraid to go against the chalk! 💪
B Allen 6'2" 235 lb
what is high pad level??
Pad level is how high the players’ play with their shoulders/upper body. It is crucial for a running back to play lower than a defender so you can break tackles at a higher rate. Playing with a high pad level makes you easier to tackle.
Jonathan Brooks is RB1 with a torn ACL.
Jaylen Wright?...
There are a few guys in this draft class that I just can’t get behind, like OT Kingsley Suamataia and S Jaden Hicks. Jaylen Wright is one of those guys.
Not sure if it’s just the games that I watched of his but I just can’t get the hype behind him. Hope he can prove me wrong!
No Marshawn Lloyd?
Lloyd was the first running back to miss the top 10. I briefly discussed it at the beginning of the video.
@@chasekellerjournalismgotcha ok. I’m curious of what your pros and cons, letter grade, and and comparable player would be,
RB11: MarShawn Lloyd, USC.
FILM WATCHED: 2023 Notre Dame, 2023 Utah, 2023 UCLA
Main positives:
- Appealing combination of athletic and physical traits
- Explosive off the handoff/on execution
- Gritty player with a lot of second-effort + off-script plays
- Can add on receiving upside despite the lack of receptions in college
Main negatives:
- Has issues with ball security + drops
- Vision is wildly inconsistent
- Lateral agility showed flaws at times
- Blocking technique is not great
FINAL GRADE: C (Mid-Fourth Round Grade)
NFL Comparison: It's hard to find a great comparison for Lloyd, but his running style reminds me of Elijah Mitchell (Mitchell has 1 career drop and 0 career fumbles which is why I can't stick with it)
@@chasekellerjournalism youre badass, earned and keeping this follow 👍🏼
This RB class is weak. No Dillon Johnson or Dylan Laube?
I agree. Weak class, but the fact that there’s no consensus RB1 or RB2 like last year makes things fun. Here are my punchlines on those two RBs:
Dillon Johnson (RB14): Johnson is a very patient running back with elite tendencies behind the line, but can’t break too far afterwards. C-, late-fifth round grade.
Dylan Laube (RB16): A change-of-pace back that may not be a three-down back, but with elite receiving abilities he can be a gadget player in the NFL. D+, mid-sixth round grade.
I will note with Laube that he would be an honorable mention at minimum if he played at a bigger school. My first negative for him is “played FCS competition for five seasons.”
@@chasekellerjournalism Great analysis!! I hope you go live soon and get a panel going.
