  • In this series we're going to create a NES! This is a great model for beginners to blend along to. Although the shape of the NES looks simple at first, getting all the little details can be tricky. We'll make use of some modifiers to help speed up the process, and hopefully you learn a thing or two along the way!

so 8 months ago or something like that, we got an assignment in community college to model an object of our choosing and make it photorealistic. i chose a NES... and I hate how easy you make it look like and that this tutorial series is 8 months late *insert Hide the pain Harold here*
it's going to be fun to see you do materials, the bottom of the NES and the controller input or what you call it :D

I just googled NES dimensions to find the ref I used, since its not my image I cant really share it, but I made a reference using my model and uploaded it to our Patreon. Everything we've got can be downloaded for free, so that's another option!

You could probably do something like this with an image sequence node in your material. Make sure all your textures are labelled numerically, set the image sequence frames to 1, and use a driver to add the current frame to the image sequence offset. Then in the output properties set the end frame to 1000, and render your animation as PNGs or whatever image format you prefer. Don't forget to set the output location! Hope this helps.
