    Enoch!!! ( Fist Bump)
We're growing in 7a hard core this year. I have rock, rocks, rocks, rock and yellow clay in my part of TN. Looks like 5 gallon cloth bag pots for us and bug netting for the leafy greens via hoop tunnel.
My biggest issue and project is growing melons this year. We are super limited to locale resources. I have the leaf mold bed rotting up each year. To that I have another cold compost 1 year aged pile of goat, chicken manure with refined shavings.

Hey back 'atcha, I am not too sure about advice on melons as I haven't been growing them very well the last few seasons. Best to get them germinated directly in the soil instead of trying to start them earlier and potting them up. Also making sure that the soil is warm enough, at least above 70f degrees. Of course I would advise good soil and I would get some large pots too, those plants will need plenty of root space.
Well at least that's what I am starting with.
I hope you see some great growth from your garden space!

@@theUrbanGardener If we get any melons this year and i catch you on a live I'll post a video later in the season on it, We won a canner so this means all our squashes won't find the winter grave yard again like last year. Sugar baby melons grew so so. 2 plants... 2 fruits..
