Hey please how did you handle the luggage at Manchester? With the kids and the bags, I mean it will be difficult to take the bags at once, I’m asking cause I am traveling via same route with two kids also. I don’t know how to handle the luggage.
Thank you for asking ma'am. I wish you safe landing. The good thing is my bag was checked in straight to manchester from abuja airport. My husband came to pick us at the manchester airport (this is at the end of the video) then we booked an uber home. As he came, I left the luggage for him to handle make I rest the ones I don do. But if possible hold a pound coin to be able to collect trolley to wheel out your luggagees at manchester Airport. Also, kindly check in all your bags including hand luggages at the airport in Nigeria if possible. I hope this helps.

I used travelling bag as my cabin bag. Please check the dimension of cabin bag for the airline you intend to use. Then get a measuring tape from tailor or buy one for #100. Next get the bag you want to use as cabin bag and measure using the measuring tape to be sure it conforms to the given dimensions. There is no particular rule as to the type of bag you can use. The most important thing is it is within the specified weight.

Thank you so much for watching. They don't actually check the weight for the carry on/handluggage/cabin bag. Yes you are right about the 23kg. They only check to be sure you used a bag within the specified dimension. They don't joke with this. Then they may not allow you to hold any extra nylon in your hand that does not lie within the specified allowed no of bag. 2 bag is 2 bag and no 2 and half. As In I was holding extra nylon of my kids snack and they wanted to be charging me, I quickly tossed inside my bag like that. You will be fine flying BA. I enjoyed the flight.

Hello. They do not weight canin/hand luggage. But BA allows up to 23kg of hand/luggage as stated in their website. So you are fine with as much as 23kg as long as it is within the baggage specification of hand luggage.
It is exactly as seen on the video. After weighing the luggage and confirming it is within the specified 23kg, the bags where checked in. I was given boarding pass and I proceeded to the boarding gate. I passed through immigration where our passport was stamped out of Nigeria and i showed them some love, before getting to the boarding gate. My hand luggages were also scanned at immigration to confirm nothing harmful was in my possession. The moment we got to the boarding gate, we justbrelaxed and waited for our plane to arrive. I hope this helps ma'am? Please let me know of you have any other questions. The video also has the details of almost everything I went through.
Yes at different stages 49 secs into the video is the first security check where dog is sniffing the bag for hard drugs. 1min 16 secs into the video is the baggage screening and that is the second and major security check because that is where items that you are now approved to carry by airline get scanned and removed. In the video the security was even telling me not to film at that point and I did not edit that statement out deliberately. The 3rd security check was at immigration after we have gotten the boarding pass and proceeding to boarding gate, but I was not allowed to film there. Honestly if you pay attention to the video, I believe most of your questions are answered, except this is going to be your first experience on international flight and need clarity. Even at London Airport I passed through security and liquid and Scissors were removed from my hand luggage, I also explained this at the video. Cheers 😆.
