Good advices here. A phone is such a useful tool, allowing yourself to take photos almost everywhere since you always have it with you. I'm honestly genuinely surprised how great photos can look from a phone and a simple editing. Carrying a small led panel with you is a also a great advice.
Would you have a tip on best app for night photos on regular iPhone 14? I’m enthusiast level ( in between expert and beginner). I like night photos in cities and also indoors at bars socializing. But if stock app is good enough 90% of the time then should be fine.
DUDE! Thank you SO much for your wallpapers!!! I’ve never was that much excited about my phone wallpaper like now! THEY ARE UNBELIEVABLE! Again, thank you.
I got me a pixel 6 because I realized I miss every shot I don't take and I hate carrying my camera around and I do photography for fun anyway, never had this much fun taking photos in my life and it's only been a week, had a mid tear phone before thinking I don't need a good phone camera cause I have a proper one and I love my lenses. Videos like this one and also film photography made me want to embrace the limitations.
I had the same thinking for the longest time. "I have a camera, why use the phone". Looking back that was just ignorant of me lol. There's a time and place for every tool.
the 2x on the iphone 14 pro is a crop from the censor and not the image so you get the quality of dedicated 12mp cam. the 2x is way better than the 3x imho as it uses the main camera
Any advice on shooting the moon? I have tried with some other advice with horrible results with this $1000 phone purchased mainly due to the tv ad using it to shoot cinematic movies 🤨
Unfortunately those lens flares are impossible to avoid in direct light. It's more of a problem in video. In stills photography, you can very easily clone them out on the lightroom app.
@@teemu.mp4 I was wondering about this. You’re going to have the green dot lens flare. Apple can remove this for single photos but hasn’t done it yet for video. They should have a filter to apply after a video was taken to remove this flare.

I've got to say this is the most objective, well-considered, and realistic take I have heard on iphone shooting from the photo community. 👏
Thank you so much!

I got a Google pixel 6, this video helped a lot for somebody getting into photography
Nice video. Does regular iPhone 14 have stabilization and also any tips on light trails? Whether stock app or a good app you suggest

This was a very in depth and detailed tutorial! Very helpful (also Soul looks amazing for night photography)
Thank you for the video! Curious- what light panel for color do you prefer?
There isn't really much difference
Could you link the LED? Amazing video as always 💗
You undoubtedly create my favourite content period! Thank you for everything
Glad you enjoy it!

Thanks for clearing that up. Also speaks volumes of how bad the telephoto still is...
Great piece of advice, easy and simple to comprehend 👍👏
Glad it was helpful!

Any advice on shooting the moon?

Zoom lenses are a weakness of the iPhone, you can't really shoot the moon convincingly.
korea is such a pretty place to take night photos or photos in general, im so jealous.. T-T
Fire brotha
Quality content, how do you avoid light artefacts when shooting light sources at night?

@@teemu.mp4 Thanks will look into editing using lightroom.

I learned something 🙌
Have you tried anamorphic lenses on the iPhone?
Never even heard of them tbh
You haven't used night mode at all in this video right? Do you think it's useful in certain cases?
Its basically just a longer shutter so yes its useful when its really dark
@@teemu.mp4 got it thanks.
Amazing!
epico
I want nice photos but I don't have the time or patience to do all this crap.
step 1. have 1500 for a phone haha. I guess if a person has a new/good phone anyways this is a good way to get into photography
I spent like 5 minutes explaining why you don't need the pro max
@@teemu.mp4 fair, maybe not 1500 lol though the 12 and 13 are still hella expensive
when i try it i get lens flare. even when trying other phones. how go you get around that?
No
I say use the awesome “ SNAPSEED @👍😊
