Nice shooting Raddy congrats on ya first two Tahr mate I've seen a couple of these vids now, where you like wading thru them shale rivers in bare feet to keep them dry.... even with a full pack on lol cracks me up, tough feet lol
Cheers mate! We've got a few we use for different scenarios. We detail it in our lightweight breakdown video we put out last month at about the 20 minute mark 👍
Nice trip there fellas. Some serious country back in there ... you also have some great common sense in regards to knowing your limits in that sort of terrain. That's awesome to see in two (relatively) young blokes. I'm liking your edits too. Cheers, Matt.
Cheers mate, we're mainly just out there to have a good time, glad it's showing through to the videos. The next videos a bit of a change of pace... shows what happens on an unsuccessful trip
Awesome video! Have you heard of Vorn backpacks? Look into them, awesome rifle backpacks with quick release function. Bought mine couple of seasons ago and will never go back. I mainly hunt chamois in the Swiss Alps and navigating steep/blocky terrain with this backpack is a charm!
Cheers mate! Will have to have a look into them, recently just treated myself to a new Tatonka bison pack- bloody comfy and has heaps of room. Chris will be looking for a new pack soon though
In th UK - mainly small game and occasionally deer. Will be looking to do some bow hunting if I make it to NZ (its not legal here unfortunately), would love to harvest a red deer with my recurve!
@@barrone10001 you'd absolutely love it over here then, the southern alps are much more impressive in person. Always had in interest in bow hunting, might have to give it a go in the future, good luck to you!
Yeah if everything comes together I'll be heading into the wilderness for a week or so, it'll be a completely different challenge to stalking roe deer on farmland. I'm hoping to spend at least 5 weeks in NZ, so I might even be able to do a bit of solo hunting and explore the Mackauly or Cobb valleys 🤞
Pitty you gents couldn't keep the skin! Rather safe than sorry! Awesome vid gents!!
Yeah it had a great mane on it, cheers mate
Out of this world scenery. Please keep on sharing.

Funny how times change, dad used to get paid a bounty for Kea beaks while he was working as a deer culler.
Crazy isn't it! Be getting slapped a huge fine if you did that now!

Nice work fellas. What calibres do you guys use?
At the moment either a .308 or a 300 win mag. The win mag was out on this trip 👌
Epic stuff! You boys rock, pardon the pun! Fantastic scenery and hunting experience, credit to ya....Love the works.

You won't regret it if you do, where and what do you usually hunt?
