I worked on The End is Nye shooting in 2021 with Bill Nye and director Brannon Braga as a teleprompter operator, I was wrapped after 1 week and it was the first time I was happy to be out of a project
@@RedCowEntertainment Yes very bad for me, never did anything like this before , like teleprompter on a 75 feet steadycam shot that switched into a 250 feet dolley shot downtown montreal where there is so much RF signals that nothing wireless could work properly, and Braga didn't like me to start with .. I was replaced by someone from LA that came with extremly expensive gears
I'm sorry guys, I don't comment on most episodes but I do watch them all. I've been here, part of those 2-5k views, in the background enjoying your show since the beginning. The journey of mac has been amazing and I hope y'all write a book about it somehow, and I hope it has at least moderate success and buys you uh... maybe an extension to a house, maybe a very nice car, ya know something like that. I wish more success but realistic well wishing vs unrealistic I'd prefer to be more down to earth. But for real if I was browsing through a bookstore and saw a book titled, "We tried over 500 Macs and got no views" I would pick it up immediately. There's a story right there, a good one.
When JTT left to show, it caused a rift between him and Tim Allen. Mainly because of how he left. He went to college and now is leading a more normal life. Eventually they patched things up, and JTT appeared on Last Man Standing with Tim. This has been your TMI 90s Pop Culture lesson for today! 😂
I am also #TeamBeakman! I remember playing 7-up into at least 4th grade. I watched Channel intently every morning because I had a huge crush on Lisa Ling. There! Now you know all my secrets!
We used to play that 7up game in school here in Scotland. But it was called, rather more literally, "Heads down thumbs up". People used to cheat by keeping their eyes open and seeing the shoes of the person picking them. Great episode guys, a classic BoxMac!
“I bought an anvil from them.” Ha ha ha 🤣 I can also confirm Heads Up 7Up and want to know if anyone else cheated by looking at shoes 😆 Fun episode, thanks guys!!
I played 7-up in elementary school out in Michigan. I don't know why but I've been waiting for all the Home Improvement references too. It seems like it was such an influential 90s tv show, it'd be hard not to mention it.
Heads Up 7-Up out here on the left coast in Oregon as well. It was usually done when a student had a birthday and after whatever snack was brought in we would play that.
I remember playing the same game, we just called it 'heads up seven up', we played it quite a bit from what i remember. What a strange phenomena that seems to span the globe....its not like its a particularly engaging game yet thousands of people are familiar with it
My teacher's check out of giving a F mode, was to play one of the National Treasure movies, usually took 3-4 days sometimes a month would go by before we continued it.
I think I sent these. I went to every grocery store I saw in Iceland and Greenland looking for something you had not done and didn't find anything. So I sent store brands you hadn't done from the west coast US. Canadian Kraft dinner is the best I've had ever. I fill my suitcase up when I go up.
Heads up and 7up I remember that game and it was hard at times. Also had fond memories of that N64 commercial when I was young and funny story me and my friend tracked down the costume maker that made the suits for that commercial. Love the funny topics and still been watching Boxmac since the beginning.
holy shit you're hitting me with almost TOO much nostalgia with this episode lmao. I feel like the 90s went through so many "heart throbs" it was kind of insane. That fact that JTT stands among the likes of Johnny Depp, Justin Timberlake, Leo, Dawson's Creek guy and uh.... hell. I forgot pretty much everyone else. Now I kinda wanna see what happened to Tim's other kids.
oh my god yes 7 up. only played it during public middle school though, never in my baptist elementary or public high school lol. AND CHANNEL ONE NEWS! Oh gooood. Do you remember when they had the teen drunk driving PSA playing that one sad Green Day song?
I remember as a kid there was a signature selects that was spirals in a purple box. Bought from Shaws. When I was little I thought that sh*t was created by Aphrodite herself. Not sure I would agree now that I'm old. Lol. Nice to watch these videos, brings back a little bit of nostalgia on the brand
We played 7up (and called it that) at my small Christian private school in central Virginia. Also lots of TV days, although we watched those Eyewitness shows more often than anything else. They're actually still pretty good and hold up considering their age.
Have yall ever looked into a special edition box mac - box mac with a company like mac and cheezus or whoever. I assume with someone else cause I dont remember you actually liking their macs lol
Chat GPT Mac and Cheese: Here's a simple and delicious recipe for classic mac and cheese: Ingredients: 8 oz elbow macaroni 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups whole milk 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper Directions: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes until the mixture turns light golden brown. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens. Add the shredded cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until well coated. Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly on top. Serve hot and enjoy! Note: You can customize this recipe by adding different types of cheese or adding toppings like breadcrumbs or bacon bits.
Has anyone sent you the newer "Frederik's" Mac and Cheeses at Meijer? Frederik's named for the son of the founder of Meijer the one that took it from a chain of grocery stores to midwest's own version of Walmart. They're similar to the Kroger Private Selection products, although the mac is probably more similar to the Artisan Crafted Walmart brand since it doesn't have the fancy pasta like the Kroger does.
Can we find a way to get a CEO of a major mac brand on the show? We need answers to how influential Box Mac is on the big trends in macs. Is there a trade publication you guys can get on the blower? Also I love Junt and would like him to co-host the patreon pod more often. k thanks bye
Beakman's World! I thought I was the only kid who watched that. I was confused when kids in school would get excited to watch Bill Nye on the Critical Race Theory television. And yes, thumbs-up-seven-up was quite the clock runner.
...what happened to JTT's testicle? Did Tim invent some manly new testicles for him? I will have to buy some Signature Selects White Cheddar sometime...
The point of Heads up 7up is to zero in on who are the cheaters are in your class. Silent ball is to test who has patience/ADHD and Dodgerock is banned in 49 states, but not Kentucky. YEE-HAW!
We called it Heads Up 7 Up in my Illinois school. That game brought me so much joy.
We called that heads-up 7up in Georgia.
I always called it 'Nap time don't touch me'
Same in Oregon
Same in Iowa.
Same here in Minnesota
Same in Utah!
Tom and Huck starring JTT has always been a guilty pleasure movie for me. 😅
The Critic drop warmed my 90s heart.
Heads up seven up!
Also, channel one news was trying to sell the hell out of polar ice gum!

the only good thing was the covid testing, they paid $250 canadian per testing in pre-production and I had to take 9 of them in 3 weeks :)

I played 7 up in elementary and middle school in the mid 2000s. New jersey school lol
Over here in Seattle, we played 7-up! I remember! The key was to leave any eye open a bit and see the shoes of the person who tagged you.
We used to play that 7up game in school here in Scotland. But it was called, rather more literally, "Heads down thumbs up". People used to cheat by keeping their eyes open and seeing the shoes of the person picking them. Great episode guys, a classic BoxMac!
We called it Heads Up 7up but when you would start the round the teacher would say "heads down, thumbs up."
“I bought an anvil from them.” Ha ha ha 🤣 I can also confirm Heads Up 7Up and want to know if anyone else cheated by looking at shoes 😆 Fun episode, thanks guys!!
your not really playing heads up if 60% of the class isnt cheating

I west to school in western Canada, and I remember playing that game all the time. We called it "heads up seven up".
Omg! Box Mac lives! ❤ i just reccomend your show to a friend and she loved it. Clearly i got some catching up to do on episodes.
I still remember the strange smell of the school desks having my head nestled in my arm while playing Seven Up. Funny how sense memory works.
Good lord that's a lot of macs. Guess I need to start the playlist over and start from the beginning again
Really enjoying these. You can’t understand the pain of how rare it is finding macaroni and cheese in Japan.
Bill Nye and 7-Up brought me straight back to the 90s. When a teacher kind of cared, we also added Math 24.
I remember playing the same game, we just called it 'heads up seven up', we played it quite a bit from what i remember. What a strange phenomena that seems to span the globe....its not like its a particularly engaging game yet thousands of people are familiar with it

Came from avgn content then looked around the arcade clips then watched the "who is red cow" now box Mac ... Guess I'm a fan now lol
I'm glad Box Mac have finally acknowledged the importance of CRT
and immediately started making fun of the irish, the way JJ Thomson intended
"Happy Together" or, as I knew it at the time, the song from 'Earnest Goes to Camp'
i just found this and supper happy i did

Called it heads up seven up over here in Washington state.
We played so much Heads Up 7 Up in school. Definitely happened when the teacher ran out of things to do and the buses were 10 minutes away
Either that or it was a substitute teacher day.
i remember it being heads-up/thumbs-up 7up.
Have you guys reviewed the Cheeto Mac varieties yet?

We had Channel One news in Georgia.
Omg, I completely forgot about the 7-Up game! 😂😂😂
Acme is in PA/NJ/DE area. Bonus points if you pronounce it "Aca-me".
I went to school in Oregon and Minnesota. I can confirm the 7-up theory in both states
Went to school in Southern Oregon, seconded
We played 7up in MN
