Nowhere have I heard that he asked his daughter's opinion ahead of time about how she felt about shaking the hands of folks that didn't protect her. He should have done that 1st before unilaterally deciding to do this. You can tell she was shocked and didn't seem all that happy about him doing that.

Ask yourself this, is it correct to go on stage in front of everybody and do what he did. Eddy should be happy the black guy kept his cool which to me is commendable. The superintendent along with other people decided on his daughter's fake, why was the super singled out. Also, the person that retaliates is the one that always get caught. The father, if he had a brain in his head should have handled the whole thing differently.
I don't know all the history, but Eddy should have read the room better. The Super had amazing restraint, if it were me Eddy would be in the hospital with large medical bills. Maybe Eddy's daughter was the problem I don't know. In this racially charged America Eddy should have looked at the optics, and maybe he did.

Yeah that makes me sad. If she was being bullied he probably subjected her to more bullying as a result of this and tainted her special day.

I don’t think anyone expected the super him to have done anything. We all assumed it was racially motivated. I think that has just been confirmed.
