Richard ~Where did you get your but Spike Strike at ?? ~I have both the gray and black Angus MacKirk sluices. The gray ones are better but not made anymore. The new black ones are of lesser quality but were available at CabeIas. ~Geo Sluice Mining in Oklahoma also has "plastic" sluices like the regular & mini Le Trap and California drop riffle sluices & highbankers. ~I do love plastic sluices very much. ~Also the plastic Kreeger Sluice, they are very good for clean-up. Green Mountain Gold Trap on UA-cam has a good video on how these Kreeger sluices work, he loves them.
Great video Jack...nice lightweight product seems to work well....now regarding the color Blue....I hate blue, don't know why, always did...had a hard time contemplating getting blue Gold Claw pans but I did and love them but I still feel weird looking at them. There's only 2 places for the color Blue ...in the sky and in the ocean..... Again a great video Jack
All sluices catch gold - only thing that makes 1 sluice better than another is by how much gold went straight through So many people just don't seem to get that Hardly ever see tests of tailings
I try and test the tailing once in a while. I do think all equipment can lose some gold. Lot of factors play into it. I never did test these tailings. Good points.
@@GoldFeverAdventures So when you name something a test , you need to state what it is YOU are actually testing. YOU means ALL testers , myself included Enjoyed your tape - Love your hair Another thing I find useful is to run my sluice into a wire mesh basket rather than a bucket - This prevents much of the grass from entering your tub and hence your pump Have a large tray underneath the wire basket to catch excess dirt
you might wanna get yourself a empty plastic tomato sauce bottle and fill it with water - works like a water pistol and washes out a riffle at a time if you aim it well
@@GoldFeverAdventures I've watched several videos and am surprised at the fine gold that drop riffles will catch. And 300 is way better. Thanks for your videos and variety of equipment that you use!
There's one thing I will never trust for my gold prospecting - plastic. It's not a matter of if it will break, but when it will break. For me, reliability of my gear it mandatory. Plastic doesn't qualify.
Ok Jack I got mine cuz you said it was good now you come out with this video! I ran mine last weekend pulled a little gold out of my left overs from a Blue Bowl! Now I done spent more money on this Miners Depot I got to quit watching your VIDS MAN
That’s been a debate for years and I will agree it’s better to run wet dirt with some types of equipment. Since it wets itself in the hopper before reaching the sluice box I think works fine. Just my thoughts. Here in Arizona it’s all dry. Lol Thanks for the input.

Great video, the paydirt from Miner's depot is some of the best you can get and Blake and Lisa are great folks too.
Great video, that’s a neat little sluice box and some good looking gold from the paydirt
I heard the process is improved by pre-wetting the material with water treated with jet dry.

I wonder how that slice would do at the beach?
That’s a thought. I think you would need some type of mat.
so do you feel that the geo sluice/ high banker is really worth the $400??
I do think it’s only 299.
I like how easy it works and cleans up and yes I’m surprised if catches gold.

Nice vidio Jack, I am thinking of buying the 5 gal bucket sluice concentrator for $69.00 Any thoughts?
It will work fine for running concentrates or small amounts of material.
@@GoldFeverAdventures Thanks Jack, I want to use it for my concentrates from my dry wash.

way to much dirt, too fast with this short machine.....
