Pressure gauge is not supposed to move when brewing Coarser tea leaves. You use the gauge only for making espresso. I like my tea to be very strong. That's why I put a note in the video to use single basket. Thanks again.
This is why I love UA-cam so much: I was just sitting here thinking "can't I make tea in an espresso coffee maker?" (I don't drink coffee)... and voila! There is a video showing me how! Thanks man 👏🏾🙌🏾👊🏾
Helpful video. I make Indian chai with fresh ginger on stove top and looking to buy Breville to have my afternoon latte. Can you add ginger to the loose tea in the Breville?
I want to try this out. But as far the tea brewing science goes it seems like espresso machine operates in double the temperature tea leaves needs. Otherwise it would taste like burnt tea. I don't know...also you ran the hot water again on those poured over leaves!!
you can make like 5L of tea with that amount of tea leaves
I agree... i like it very strong. But I put a note to use single basket for those who like it mild. Thanks for the feedback.
😂
Great video! Now I know how to make a good tea with the Barista Express!
that's lot of tea leaf for a cup of tea!
Looks like a yummy cup of tea!! ☕
Go to the 4 min mark for the useful bit, what I noticed is the espresso pressure gauge never moved and that was far too much tea for a small cup

Welcome 🙂
I recall many desi cafes and grocery stores sell tea made from expresso machines.

Yes you can add any spices in the filter basket for additional flavor
Say I make a cup of espresso then a cup of tea, do I need to clean the water spout?
Yeah just run an empty shot in-between this
hi quick question, do you use pressurized or non pressurized basket for makin teapresso?
Non-Pressurized basket strictly.
Tea leaves or tea leaves powder?
Tea leaves
How to make tea with milk froth
Doodh ki chai
I will do a video on that soon
what a wasting, the tea used for only one time and throw it in the dustbin
I want to try this out. But as far the tea brewing science goes it seems like espresso machine operates in double the temperature tea leaves needs. Otherwise it would taste like burnt tea. I don't know...also you ran the hot water again on those poured over leaves!!
I'm going to try this today.
Waste of tea
Aint gonna lie but it actually has a perfect flavour compared to the regular methods of tea brewing.
Try fine grinding the black tea powder and then mix it with some steamed milk. It gives a better buzz and tastes better.
I do mix with steamed milk i.e. tea latte. Makes a difference
