Yeah, that art just doesn't do it for me. Makes the game feel like Candyland or something lol. However, I do appreciate that after a decade of people complaining about how much space the conditions take up, they finally condensed them into one panel. I wish the panels were available as a PDF so they could be printed off because I have a dark brown leather DM screen with clear plastic sleeves stitched in that I can slide whatever I want into. So I'd just print out the information and insert them into my own screen.
Agree on the cartoonish layout is really not into the D&D tabletop atmosphere, and i also think most players at the table will find it offsetting. Not sure i will buy it, not even as a collectors item. I will make my own screen if i upgrade to the 2024 corebook, as so far of what i have seen, i dont even see the point of leaving the old 5e corebook's.
The inside is awesome! Wish they would offer a choice for the artworks.
Agreed! Including the skill list is useful
Thank you for the review :)
Thanks for watching!
Oof the art. Maybe it’s intentionally bad so they can sell an alternate art limited edition fomo version
Maybe, it certainly was a choice.

Have you received a copyright strike for showing the inside of the DM screen?
When are these hitting stores? I have the DMG but no one had these.
The release date for them was listed as November 12th, so they should be available now.
@DravenSwiftbow finally got mine. Good art... but Instead of a folder it would have been better to have handout cards for conditions.
You mention 3.5 a lot. Do you prefer 3.5 over 5e? Not asking for an edition war, just curious.
I'm currently running a 3.5 campaign, so it's fresh in my mind.
I wish it matched the new rule books art. Not a fan of the art on this one.
Lets admit it. It looks te-ri-bellll
