309 / 5.000 Hello. I don't know if you'll answer because of the years that have passed. Do you have a video of how to connect the Yamaha to the Macbook and what type of cable? I see that the table has a fiber optic output and I don't know where to find the cable, or what it's called to transfer the songs to the Mac as you did. Thanks and best regards
@@pablomartinez-gr5fr Hey. You just use a standard USB cable. There’s a USB button on the machine and once you have it connected you select how to connect it from the USB button. Hope this helps.
@@ameeromedia5883 My recorder doesn't have USB, that's why I asked after watching your video. I guess my model would be the last one that didn't have USB. Thanks
@@eternity_code honestly I just pulled it out the case last week. This thing is still a beast however I can only provide you with a more accurate opinion if I knew what you were using it for. I don’t use it to record my music I use it for sound recording and drum practice. If you want to stick to hardware based multitrack recording because this thing does have its antiquated limitations, there are better options but it’s still a great machine!!
Hola. La Yamaha AW1600 no es una tarjeta de sonido. Es solo una grabadora y un mezclador digital. Tendrá que comprar una interfaz de sonido y luego conectar el Yamaha a la interfaz con cables. Y no soy un hombre 😂.
@@ameeromedia5883 Hola!! Conoces algún programa de extracción de wav si se hace un backup? Lo que sucede es que no me muestra las carpetas y archivos del AW1600-2.

Yes it is. I just connected it last week and imported wav files for the pad sampler.
