- My first play with the RYK Algo FM module. Using an 8-step loop from the Oct Tone, a bit of delay from the Milky Way, some reverb and cassette saturation from the Chroma Console. I then foolishly threw in a VCO from the Batumi II through the Sqwk Dirty filter and sequenced from the meloDICER, all of which I'm using for the first time. I'm not sure it gels all the time, but I was having a lovely time exploring.
Full review of all these modules are in the pipeline....

RYK make some crazy modules. Not sure they’re for me. But that are extremely intriguing 🤔
When did this beautifully lush sounding RYK Module come into your hands!?😂
Big surprise and sneaky... I love it, and can't wait for you to explain what it actually does. An FM Algorithm Module?¿💥🎶🎛👏🏽🎙🔥👁🤖♥️🐈⬛🌛❗️
sounds great lovely tones. Sounds like church bells at times.
Melodicer looks like such a fun module! Some of the sounds are similar to tones from the Studio Electronics Quadnic.
👍👍👍👍👍
Good deal!
Thank you
@@MoltenMusicTech you’re welcome MoltenMusicTech. I am new to modular synthesis and am still learning the ins & outs of connectivity.
I've always wondered if there is anyone who uses modulars to do things other than the usual boring blip blop!
I’m sorry you find melody boring. There’s plenty of drone music and beats made on modular - you can use it for whatever you want. But like a guitar lends itself to strumming; sequencing voltages lends itself to series’s of notes and occurrences. Your best bet is to make the music you want to hear and build the machine to produce it. Personally I still very much enjoy a string of notes, the movement of a filter and the space created by reverb and delay.
