The Tony and Olivier winner Eddie Redmayne talks about bringing his Emcee to Broadway in the upcoming revival at the Kit Kat Club, née August Wilson Theatre.
Eddie Redmayne stands out even with this fantastic cast giving amazing performances (must mention Bebe Neuwirth and Gayle Rankin - absolutely fabulous performances) (UK version with Jessie Buckley was fantastic too.) Great show, great atmosphere and really immersive. Eddie Redmayne's grotesque but endearing MC draws you into this world only too threaten it with impending evil - one chilling scene in particular will make your blood run cold. Go, enjoy and like me go again.
So excited to see Eddie in the role of the Emcee! Cabaret is my favorite musical and I’ve seen the revival twice with the phenomenal Alan Cumming. Let’s see what Eddie’s rendition of this iconic role is!
