No one absolutely no one can replicate this guy! The heart, wisdom, charisma, and love that he shows for these catfish is unbelievable. You can see it in his eyes when he tells a story or shows a video that he does this out of pure love for these catfish! Much respect and love for you Kris aka MUDDY RIVER CATFISHING! Great video man! Tight lines brother 🎣
What a great conservation story about fishing Elephant Butte Blues. I hope to make it down there and do some muddy water catfishing with you some day. Your'e a diamond in the desert Kris! ATB
Funny, i just said something on that theme in a video that i published 1 hour ago. Let me tell you how carp fishing work in Europe. Every winter they draw the lakes down and take out any small fish and leave only the big carp, and they know exactly how many carp they have in the lake. An average lake has no more than 300 fish in it. The top 20 largest fish in the lake all have names. The anglers know the names of the fish. They catch them many times in the same season, and take great care not to harm them, and release them back. And the carp keep growing after being caught DOZENS OF TIMES. I bet there are some carp in UK that have been caught 100 times in their life! A carp over 30 pounds can cost over 30 000 pounds, which is like 40 000 US dollars. Carp over 40 lb are very rare in UK and extremely expensive. Here we have 40 lb common carp in most big lakes, and we just shoot and kill them with bow and arrow. Anyway, i'm sure this is more than you wanted to know about carp, but the point is that there is no need for speculation: Catch and Release DOES WORK, you can catch and release a fish multiple times as long as you take basic care of it..
Heck yeah Kris! Releasing those big fish is the best for other fisherman and the fishery. If you're out fishing for dinner selectively harvest the small abundant fish
Catch and release works way more often than not, especially for a fish that can escape a cooler and live in a car trunk for days before its thumping brought a rescue.
Well between my buddy myself and my 8yr old son weve caught the same flathead 4 times over the summer. We know shes the same fish because she only has one eye. We caught that same fish because pic and release
Chris I do catch and release anything below 18 in. I only keep if I don't have fish in my freezer or if I'm having a fish fry . Enjoy all your videos keep up the good work God bless you and your family
I live in arkansas and one issue we have here is regulations on commercial fishing I've fished the same spots for almost 30 years and what once produced quality fish is now only producing under 10 pound fish on the norm I went to Memphis to fish last year and what would be considered trophy fish here now were common place there I've caught 2 fish over 50lbs here and none over 15 in the last 4 years
Brother, what a story and I can't believe that's the same fish. To pull that bad boy not once but twice out of the same lake is astonishing. That state record is coming! I can feel it. Good luck brother and thank you for sharing.
great video but man @7:23 that quote is not the best look for the chesapeake that is dealing with these things. just caught an invasive 32 pounder from land and good grief they are a great fight.
Great video as usual. Catch and release is the way to go! Kris, check out my first blue and my personal best catfish to date. I caught it out of Texas. I'm in Iowa now and will be filming on the Missouri River the next few months. Please check it out.
I agree 100% brother cpr is a great way to keep fishing alive, I bass fish in ept and I know how great ascarate lake could be if people would see the importance of cpr, great video brother
Beautiful story Brother! I’m gonna share this video to much people as I can here in my area, most of the people here catch and keep everything they catch, sometimes they not even eat the fish, sometimes they just put them in the freezer for months
I'm all about catch & release. I take a picture & release the fish 👍. I don't like cleaning fish any how but I love catching them 😊. Catch & release assures future generations will have the same fun catching fish that have grown even bigger 👍. Keep passing the word along.
I've watched your channel to see your kids grow up,,, the first boat,, fixing the boat while you were still in the building,, I'm so happy

by the way, i live in TN now, close to Nickajack lake. If u are in the area, hollar and we can do a trip w my boat.
Great video
If people keep releasing fish in your lake and the wildlife agency keeps stocking blues you will have 100 pounders someday!!!!
Let'em go, Let'em GROW.👍
Great advice!
Catch and release may work; however if the fish is injured it may not survive. It is best to catch your limit and eat what you catch.

Agree

THANKS KRIS ,we love ❤️ stories ,🤗💚💚💚
I think the best thing for population is selective harvest. I release anything over 10#
not legal in some watersheds in the us.
Great commentary Mr. Flores.
Nice blue from Arizona
Very nicely done. Wonderful job.
Well between my buddy myself and my 8yr old son weve caught the same flathead 4 times over the summer. We know shes the same fish because she only has one eye. We caught that same fish because pic and release

It's been very windy in New Mexico for a while. Keep safe!
I have a personal rule for myself an my family. Rule is anything over 20lbs we release it if it under 15lbs we can eat it.

Kris, you are a once in a lifetime human being bro. God bless you brother
Awesome story Kris, great example of CPR.
Algorithms, Algorithms I have caught many 1 eyed catfish and plenty that have had hooks still in them. So I know they live to be caught again.
I wish there was more fisherman like us, state records would be bountiful that's for sure
I still need to make time to go to elephant bute one day
Yes sir awesome video brother
What was the weight when Justin caught it?
great video but man @7:23 that quote is not the best look for the chesapeake that is dealing with these things. just caught an invasive 32 pounder from land and good grief they are a great fight.
What species are they endangering?
@@moralesoutdoors native fish...striped bass, sturgeon, shad in particular and probably 2 dozen other species. the law depends on geographic location.
I let them all go brother I want my kids,an grand children to feel the same I do
Great video as usual. Catch and release is the way to go! Kris, check out my first blue and my personal best catfish to date. I caught it out of Texas. I'm in Iowa now and will be filming on the Missouri River the next few months. Please check it out.

Pueda que en la temporada de otoño es cuando este mas gorda, la tercera es la vencida!! 🎣🎣
Amen to that brother thanks. 👍
What would you think if I told you, I never caught any bluecats or any flathead catfish...
Maybe some day we all could go fishing together 😁
Great video Kris! Everyone should practice CPR...(Catch, Photo, Release) Protect the species for future generations (Bill)
Beautiful story! Love the quote you shared as well. Thanks for the video Kris 🙏🏻
I just discovered you from a video 8 years ago on how to use a fishing bell
Welcome to our channel!
I can’t wait for warmer weather here in Colorado!
I'm waiting too, Iowa. Getting close though.
Ice is starting to break up but it is snowing here again today.
Catch and release we always do big cat fish we will upload one againe we been catching every two months
I release about 99.5% of my fish and do not keep anything over 10 lb
Great video Kris. Me and Brandon agree 100%. We release most of the fish we catch. Fisherman need to at least let those bigger fish go.
Hell yes, as long as you take care if the fish.
It was post spawn so it was 5lbs lighter
I agree 100% brother cpr is a great way to keep fishing alive, I bass fish in ept and I know how great ascarate lake could be if people would see the importance of cpr, great video brother
