Sorry to hear that. I don't have a protective cover on any of my tablets. My tablets are dedicated to my music performance use. I don't use them for the internet or anything at home. They are off limits to the grand kids.

@TheGiggingGuitarPlayer My tablet is new to me. Also, just for band use. I didn't know the durability of it, so I put it in a case.. I now have a different holder, but I had to customize this one to hold the cased pad.
