Honoring Black History in Holly Springs: United Church of Christ

Churches have been the cornerstone of the Black community in Holly Springs since the 1800s. As part of our Honoring Black History Month in Holly Springs video series, hear from Charles Whitaker, longtime church member, about the importance of these congregations.
The community also mourns the recent loss of former Holly Springs Town Commissioner, John McNeil, a dedicated Deacon at the Holly Springs United Church of Christ. He served on the Board of Commissioners from 1983 to 1995.
