He demanded that they hire Black women, Asians, and Hispanics. Leslie Jones in particular was brought on because of him. By 2012 or 13 he was carrying the show; and they wanted him to wear a dress, and would nix his ideas. This would be like SNL royalty Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Adam Sandler, getting their ideas nixed or having no veto power. The show still hasn’t been consistent since he left.
