I had a Yamaha TZR 50, i love it very much. Now i am going for a motordriverslicense. I was thinking about buying this bike, but seeing this... My scooter 49cc wasn't much slower then this. Don't get me wrong, i love it! But if you want fun at higher speeds this is not really the bike for you.
@sheckler456 so I would choose YAMAHA. the quality of yamaha and honda is really great. The engines are perfect, the diffrence between yamaha and honda engine in these motorcycles is not too large. Both have about 15 hp and top speed about 140km/h. The diffrence is in the view.Honda looks really like a bike, its small, very narrow and if you are high, you will look very funny. And the yzf r125 is bigger, wider and looks like true sportbike.
@smelkato but theres the thing... you see im turning 16 and i have got 2 choices: honda cbr 125r 2012 brand new, or yamaha yzfr-125 2010 and almost new with 7300 kmh... and the yamaha is more expensive than the honda which is new unlike the yha..... what would u choose?
i was sitting on the yzf and i felt really weird about that my foot were so far back :S maybe it is because i have only rode supermotos before... but is the seat position like hard if u ride long trips because it is so low?
well thats you're opinon tbh i personaly thing it looks a great little 125 i mean i am only 17 so this is the highest cc i can get for awhile now with the new laws (i live in uk) its also pretty quick i mean 83-88mph good for me haha admitive it is a little steep i mean new bout 3000 is ok i guess but for second hand thats shit i think unless no marks or scratches but it also has a good reliable engine in them as well and with the right exhaust they sound not that bad :) but that my opinion xD
pretend bike, expensive plastics with small engine. 17 year olds out there pass your proper test no cbt. Then you be able to ride a 33bhp bike restricted gsxr is the way or maybe a ninja or restricted yaamaha r1

@sheckler456 cbr 125 is like a bike! Wheels are so slim. YZF is better but daelim roadwin 125 is the best;p its looks like 600ccm

Hei, trur du en som veier rundt 90-100 kilo kan kjøre en yamah yzf 125cc eller er man for tung da?
I bet it was pretty frustrating goin 90 km/h and then slowing down to half because of that scooter ;)
My Yamaha YZF (125cc) is top speed 127 km/h
the yamaha is better but it costs more than the honda. In norway (where I live) a yamaha will cost you about the same as a used Kawasaki Ninja 250r!
What about the fuel consumption? is it high?
