I watch this now, as an old person, and I cannot believe I used to do this kind of caving as a teen in the 1960s. We only had carbide lamps on our hard hats, no one knew where we were, took still photos only, mostly moved around in near total darkness, carried a candle stub for emergency light. Lordy, we were so stupid, unqualified, stayed underground for 12 hours at a time. I do not believe I did that.
The candle is a great idea I have already had to use a lighter for emergency heat on several occasions. Works better wearing a trash bag to keep the heat in like a hot air Balloon
Just don't catch the plastic on fire or you will be in for it
That’s legit amazing.
You're human. You were made for this earth.
It’s stupid but your with nature like humans were meant. That’s the kinda shit I wish I was
This seriously feels like watching a found footage horror film. I was almost expecting a misshapen horror or some fungus monster to jump out at you guys at any second.
horror would be.when the heavy rain starts flooding the entire thing
You guys are definitely braver than I am. The big drop doesn't scare me. But squeezing through a tiny passage no one has ever gone through? I'd take one look at that tiny hole and nope the heck right out there. Nice job, y'all.

this tunnel really gives me the vibe that an ancient lost civilisation built it thousands of years ago, only for it to be lost to time. the abstract and almost alien patterns on the rocks really add to the dystopian feeling. what really made me type this, however, is the fact that there were a series of tunnels that just kept going on and on. either way, lost civilisation or not, this was a great video!
Jeez, the horrific fear shooting through me as you stuck yourself in that tiny gap in the rocks, I can never imagine doing anything close to this, but more power to y'all for having the will to go and do this.

Me too, what freaks me out the most is very deep & dark pits or climbing thru breakdown piles, Im always thinking one big boulder could shift and either kill you or crush and pin a leg trapping a seriously injured person. Squeezing into those tight spaces spikes my anxiety. Gotta be a low supply of oxygen as well. Stay safe
It doesn't have to be low oxygen down there! The earth is capable of breathing. It's complicated yes; but it all has to do with the weather and barometric pressure!

I never understood the draw spelunking/caving until I went in a local cave. When your in the pitch dark you instinctively look for where the next passage is. yeah I have mild caving experience and the first time i was in a space so tight that I couldn't inhale entirely was a real treat. like you breathe in and then... it just stops, no more space to inflate your chest any further, and the feeling of absolutely unyielding rock around you is a cool reality check. His body was retrived and the family's that he went through the tight part wrong and got stuck. I madly respect those who dare to explore unknown places, even though it can be risky.
In my home in East TN, I used to go hunt ginseng with some family on English Mountain. They always told me that the whole mountain was hollow. We would come across many sinkholes and such on that mountain. One time while searching through the woods, we came across a pit about the same size as the one in the video, but pitch black. We through rocks down it and never heard them hit the bottom, just sounded like it kept bouncing along the walls until it faded away…
